hi I'm Dennis manager owner chef at Porter's net Country Club today we're going to melt chocolate for dipping you need heavy cream good chocolate a little bit of butter we're going to make a ganache you need people parts chocolate let's do half a pound of chocolate eight ounces of cream and just 1 ounce of butter ganache bring the cream up just to avoid pour it over your chocolate just lightly start nice get a nice thick dick make sure there's no lumps this is a ganache equal parts chocolate heavy cream and a knob of butter now you can let this cool whip it up makes a nice icing for cakes or filling for cakes if you pull it out whizz it up a little bit you can make truffles truffles are made with ganache you can flavor it with raspberry liqueur coffee liqueur just about a half an ounce or something like that and you have a really nice flavored chocolate Denis madrone that's chocolate for dipping
