hi my name is Weston Scott on with archways and ceilings made easy in this short video I'm going to show you on how to install an arch your on trees are to come neatly packaged in a box shipped right to your job site in this box you'll find your arch knowing that arch there's going to be instructions on how to install it so pop open your box and let's get started now that you have your elliptical arch you are ready to install handyman Matt here is gonna give us a hand today by first measuring the width of your opening second is a measure mark the center of the header and step 3 you want to refer to find your wit chart located on your instructions Itzel indicate how much to cut up in each half step for it go to measure mark and cut off the excess arch step 5 roping is greater than 2 by 6 simply finish the split cut provided once you have split it you'll have two separate arches you're going to go ahead and place one arch in the front one arch in the back four openings up to 24 inches in depth step 6 you are now ready to install your arch go ahead and now the center of your arch the center of your header you're almost there step 7 finish down the arch into the opening Wow wasn't that easy thanks handyman Matt now that you've learned how to measure and install an elliptical arch you're now ready for drywall
