hi I'm Lindsay Ann and today we're going to be making homemade all-natural dog treats hey amber hi guys today we have a very special guest this is little amber and she's gonna be helping me make some homemade all-natural dog treats these are really easy to make you're just gonna start with a cup of whole wheat flour and pour that into our Bowl that's not good ambient that and we have 1/3 cup of oats you won't want that either and a teaspoon of baking powder good girl you're doing so good and then for the liquid we have half a cup this is some low-sodium chicken broth umm you could also use water if you want and then here we have half a cup of peanut butter the secret delicious ingredient and if you watch my videos you know my trick of how to measure sticky ingredients so let's pull up our peanut butter in there and you know that's the good stuff don't you you do you know alright so now we're just going to mix this all together and you can really customize this however you like for your dog's preference you can add some bacon bits in there a mashed banana if you want to have a nice shiny coat on your pooch you can add an egg or two in there it's really versatile and I'm going to get in here with a spatula and get this all combined and this is where we're going to get a little messy and ambi can help me wash my hands off if they get a little too sticky and I'm just going to get in here with my hands and knead it together and the flour just we want it to be nice and Li incorporated until we have a nice dough transfer this to my silicone mat hold on a me we got to bake it first get this out of here okay and we're just going to knead this a little bit more until there's no more streaks how does it look she's looking her lips already I know you want them don't you okay so that looks pretty good so now I'm just gonna take my rolling pin you can probably just smash it with your hands two rolling pin just makes it a little more even you think it's going to be delish should we start cutting out some shapes here I have a bone cookie cutter I got this one online for about the dollar fifty and we're just going to cut out some bone shapes here you can release any shape you like if you want to do heart shapes so this recipe makes about a dozen um and you know what if you don't have a cookie cutter a really cool trick you can do let me make some room here so I can show you guys a close-up I'm just gonna take a little ball and you can make some circles and what I'm going to do on these is make a little paw print shape so what I do excuse my messy fingers is I take my thumb and I create a little triangle and then I take my pinky and do one two three and that creates a little paw print which is really cute and these don't spread at all and they really hold their shape when they're baked so the paw print really comes out cute once it's baked like some cookies spread a lot and lose their shape and I have my oven already and preheated to 375 and so I'm just going to pop these in the oven you can bake them for ten minutes to twelve minutes if you want more of a chewy cookie if you want them a little crunchy or and harder you can bake them up to 20 minutes and then we get to eat and we'll see how she likes them so let's pop these in the oven and I'm gonna take little ambu for a walk and we'll come back and do a taste test all right so our dog treats are baked and cooled and they came out beautiful I just want to show you guys a close-up of these adorable little dog treats they're so cute and what you can do with these if you want to make up extra fancy you can pipe a little peanut butter or spread some on and make a little paw print sandwich really cute really fun another thing you can do with these you can just get a dog bowl you can get these at the dollar store and just place your treats in them and this is going to make a really cute doggie gift if you know somebody who just got a new dog or it's their dog's birthday and I think I have some cute ribbon and you can just tie it up and it makes a really cute gift and then we're going to see if Andy likes the treats you think you're going to like them she loves peanut butter and you can use all-natural peanut butter organic peanut butter any Thai you like alright and isn't that a really cute gift you can wrap that in cellophane whatever you like to make it look nice and pretty and these I baked soft so they're really soft and chewy um Sammy doesn't like the hard one whoa is it good Andy I think she likes it do you like it alright guys thanks for stopping by my dollhouse bake shop for more videos with squirt be sure to subscribe to my youtube channel or connect with me online for more fun baking tips recipes and ideas see you guys next time you
