hi everybody welcome back to my channel in today's video I'm just going to show you three orchids that have him bloom right now they're in the house not in the greenhouse but I think all of them are really cool and I wanted to share with you what they are and how to get them to bloom so this is one of my favorite orchids here this one is called a cockleshell orchid this one here is a cataleya type orchid and this one here in the middle is a miniature Dendrobium now all of them are going to take similar care they're gonna like partial to full Sun they're gonna like well-draining mix they want to just reproach dryness before you re water I've got them all planted in a bark mix that drains really fast and see there you can see in this one here with just a tiny bit of moss in there to hold a little bit of moisture all of the pots have got holes drilled in them or slots in them to allow for good airflow the only one that doesn't here is the little Dendrobium but clay pots actually allow for quite good airflow as well this one here is super cute he has just bloomed for me for the first time it's flowers are actually bigger than its leaves almost hopefully with this being the first time his blooms it'll put on quite a show for me next year the cockleshell orchid here is a sequential bloomer so as these two start to fade there's going to be more blooms that take its place up above and this is an orchid that although looks similar to an oncidium at least in pseudo bulb shape is going to be more related to cattle ay as for their care anyways guys I hope you enjoyed this video and if you want to see more videos like this please subscribe to my channel thanks for watching I think these things look just like a little octopus or a little aliens you can't tell which
