this is Shaun and today I'm going to show you how to open a hood on a 2000 to 2002 saturn s-series without using the hood release or the hood release cable so first you want to climb under the car and you've got this plastic piece right here it's held on with a couple bolts or nut so remove those and remove this nut and then what you want to do is peel this plastic cover back and it exposes an access port right there and that's where you reach your little wire in which I've got a little piece of wire right here reach it in there and you can pop your hood open
