hello friends this is V snow and you are watching drawing stack I hope you have already seen my earlier video about the sunset drawing in time-lapse there I said that I'll release another version of the same drawing with commentary to help people who wants to see more details I'm sorry it took me a little while to get to it but finally here it is for all of you I'm using texture pastel paper and prismacolor pastel let's start with a deep cadmium yellow color cover one third from the top with it then take a lemon yellow color and cover remaining part of the paper with that take the deep cadmium yellow again and put some variations of your low here and there now blend all this colors together using fingertip pastel is such a nice medium it is very easy to get a smooth texture blending all colors together as an alternate you can use a piece of clothes or paper also for blending I prefer using my finger different pastels up to the blending is done I took a Salman pink color and covering mostly part of the top and bottom keeping some areas in between with the earlier yellow color blend Salman pink on top of ear dome now use a belvoir million color it's a lighter version operate and cover both the side of bottom part of the drawing with this color also cover some part in the middle leave the lemon yellow in the middle untouched what we are doing is creating various texture of the sky of sunset using some white color here to create some highlights use the same valve vermilion color and add some more texture here and there actually you don't have to follow the same areas as I am covering with a particular color give yourself some freedom based on your imagination or try to follow your own reference picture and try to use the color you are seeing some deep cadmium yellow here and there to create some more highlights as in when we are applying a color we are blending it to get a smooth final result now I'm going to use a carnival red and cover mostly the bottom part and some part here and there in the middle keep in mind I am always keeping some yellow areas untouched to create the contrast of the sunset colors use more yellow or white to create highlights at some places if required here we are going to put the final layer on the sky using a carmine madder color this looks like darker side of the red we are covering mostly both side of the bottom part and some areas in the middle now that the sky is done let's draw the line for the ground at the bottom using a black sketch pane or a black marker and start covering the idea this part is very easy and with the marker you can finish this very quickly as I'm using a sketch pin it is going to take a little while for me as it is after sunset and not much obliged on the ground all we are going to see is black colors we are done with the ground now we are going to create some more interest to the drawing what tree will be great so let's start with that here I'm going to draw only the trunk structure of the tree this part is also easy just imagine a tree and extend all branches of the tree I would suggest you to use your own creativity to give the tree a nice look here I'm going to draw some small grass around the tree let's consider that the Sun went down here behind the clip and some directory of the Sun is still visible to get that filling in this drawing I'm going to highlight the sky in this area with some lemon carmine mater yellow and white color blend the area and also drag some of the yellow and white color towards the ground covered with black color this will look like as if the Ray is still reaching out to us over there before we finish we are going to add another interesting component to the drawing some flying birds going home after sunset I named the drawing return to home looking at those flying birds to complete this part I'm using a pointed ball pin check out closely how I am drawing these parts first I'm creating the body of the world and then creating the position of wings while flying some wings are positioned below the body some are above the body and some of them having wings diagonal that way it looks more realistic so here we are done with this drawing return to home a colorful sunset using pastel sketch pin and ball pin I hope this will be helpful and you will like this please rate this video and let me know if you have any comment or suggestion subscribe to learn more drawing techniques thank you for watching drawing stack take care bye bye see you soon with another drawing
