Please explain how to paint a starry night in the woods - stars - very easy

Hello my friends and welcome
to another Tuesday of tutorial! I am Leonardo Pereznieto
and today we will paint a starry night behind trees. We begin facilitate the process
using these branches. We will tear a piece of paper
to mask the horizon line. I don´t use the straight edge of the paper
because I want it to look irregular. Like so, this will make a good
horizon line. We place it a little bit tilted. And now I carefully lay
the branches on it. Which of course I have chosen
and cut so that they look like trees, the trees of a forest
or actually its outline or silhouette. This step of using the branches
is optional, you could actually skip it and at the end paint them
with a brush, as I will later show you. If you use the branches
it is important that they are flat on the paper, otherwise,
they will not mask well. And now using an old tooth brush
and acrylic paint we will make the effect of the stars. Scratch the head of the brush
so as to spatter paint on the paper. Of course the paint will land
all over, so please protect the area and also use clothing that doesn´t
matter that you get dirty. When we are running out of paint
we charge some more and repeat the action. It is a good thing that the drops
are of different sizes ...and if we like we can add some color
in this case I will use some light blue. It will give a slight but nice effect. By the way, as I promised in my
last video, at the end of this one I will show some of the works
that you have been uploading to the Fine Art-Tips mobile App.
So I advice you to stay to the end. Sometimes I do it from closer
and sometimes from farther away, so as to create different effects. We wait for a moment for the paint
to dry and we take them away and we have a forest a little bit
out of focus. The stars are good, but the branches
did not deliver the entended effect. Therefore we take a brush with
black acrylic paint and we go over them. There are a few drops which
are to big or that landed too long, I solve this by painting some
branches over them so that they cannot be seen. Earlier I mentioned to you
that masking with the branches was optional because I knew
at the end we have to paint them anyway... but I do think they help. We also paint some thin ones
so they appear that they are behind the bigger ones… … I like it! We do the last details
… and it´s ready! And now, as promised let´s see
some of your art works. Here we are on the Fine Art-Tips App. Let´s go to the ¨Fine Art¨ section
and to the tab on the right that shows the most LIKED
in the last 30 days. The first one is a colorful
drawing of candy. It is perfectly done by artist
Duru Erdem… I am not sure how to pronounce
it, sorry. The second one is also by Duru Erdem and it´s a beautiful little cake with candles. The third once most LIKED
is by the same artist, my God! and this one is a melting
ice cream heart. Titled ¨Diabetic heart¨. It surely has a message, I love
art with a concept and with a message. The next one is a beautiful eye
done in pencil by artist Michelle Werner or Werner if she is German. The title is ¨Cry me a river¨. Congratulations to them
and to all the talented artists who uploaded their work
to the Fine Art-Tips App. And remember that those artists
who are interested in being represented by ¨O Gallery¨
you may submit your work to be reviewed for selection to
info@oartinternational.com And if you enjoyed this video
please give it a LIKE! share it to your friends and
subscribe to Fine Art-Tips. And I will see you
on Tuesday :) Subtitled by Grethel Trejo
