Now from one year to the next your garden could look totally different because I find if I buy one plant or obtain one plant it means a matter of moving 3 or 4 more plants and that is what happens with gardens. They would change with season to season. If I get tired of something in the spring I might give it a jolt and try to put it somewhere in the fall. Now this is a very good example this is what I call my extra garden I only put things here that I'm really not pleased with anymore and last year I moved 2 daylilies here this brilliant orange one and this one here and as you can see it kind of gave the whole garden a new look. It brighten it up a little bit, I put new plants in the middle because I had some in there that where just taking over and to many weeds. So this change from being all shrub like that a kind of aster look very tall and out of control to having some nice daylilies. The goose neck is in there I make sure that it doesn't spread to much and a little extra flower in there. So you can actually change your garden from year to year. One thing that I like to do is start new spots as long as they blend. Now here I have this big wide open space so a couple years ago I thought it would be nice to put something in the middle here. So here you have a section of grass and all of sudden a couple of years ago I thought maybe I should put a shrub here so this was kind of a interesting looking shrub nice looking, leafs here, nice color. Then one day when my husband was fishing down at the river he came home with this very interesting rock formations. I thought that was a pretty cool look and should be something that I'm actually not going to hide so we put the 2 here in front of the bush and then I just found this new kind of hens and chicken that you see everywhere in walls. This one is red one and I thought the color here was just really exceptional so we put this one little hens and chicken and I think I probably got this about 3 weeks ago at a farmers market. Put it here in between the 2 rocks so now you have a new little spot which I think is kind of attractive.
