Please explain how to launch a boat solo | boatus

Our solo driver is on his own, and he's going
to back into the water until the transom floats. At this point, our solo boater is going to
unroll about 2 feet of winchline and then lock it for safety. Now he can back the boat into the water and
know that it's not going to get away from him. He's only using one line since he's by himself. It's attached to the bow cleat and he's run
it back to the stern cleat. This is going to give him control to back
the boat away down the dock if he has to, if it's a busy launch ramp. He unhooks it, pushes it off, and now he has
his one line for control as he gets back up on the dock and walks the boat out of the
way. With the boat secured on the dock and out
of the way in case someone else wants to launch. Now our solo boater can pull his rig and trailer
out of the way to the staging area, park, and come back and get to boating.
