Please explain how to prepare and cook a hen of the woods (maitake) mushroom. simple!

I'm going to talk to you today about hen of the woods mushrooms about a year ago at my local farmers market there was a guy who showed up as selling them and I was amused because I get emails and with pictures and vegetables from friends all the time saying what a system what do I do with it and I always have the answer for them but this mushroom unhinged me slightly so I thought I would explain the research that I the research that I wound up doing this is the hand of the woods mushroom and it I wish you could smell it it's so fragrant it's unbelievable but you can't and I can so what I learned to do with this is like the easiest thing in the whole world so that's why I felt like I had to do this in a video I literally just peel it apart into little pieces there's usually like a little knob on the bottom and if you feel like that you can just terrific get that off it's not a dirty maybe I should wash it but I don't and then I just take it apart into little pieces like this and what I tend to do with it when I'm done with that is fry it and olive oil and at that point it's so delicious sometimes it doesn't really make it to any sort of dish I wound up just eating hits straight I put a little sea salt on it and then I throw in the pan I eat it like I said straight or sometimes it's really good if you've made like a pork chop just take it on top of that it gives it a really great earthy feel if you don't eat pork chops don't do that and the other thing I really like to do is once I've done frying it I will put just some eggs that I've scrambled and sort of make it into scrambled eggs which is super delicious it stretches it it perfumes it and on a night like tonight I'm exhausted and I need to get dinner on the table really quickly and this is a very quick dinner and it doesn't taste like scrambled eggs for dinner because it has this great amazing flavor of this hen of the woods mushrooms so there I've peeled it all apart and I just wanted to show you how absolutely gorgeous my eggs are right now from the farmers market this the color of different eggs actually comes from the specific kind of chickens that lead them obviously we have some green and blue chickens just kidding that's a big lay so I will fry this up super easy and then put some eggs with it and I'm going to serve it which is an absolutely gorgeous salad and also from my farmers market
