okay this is the landscape bird mural for glass etching by Matisse see Carmen working on the bird cutting it out by hand with an exacto knife so this is the beginning stages of how to do a mural you have to get the resist on the glass first then you draw your drawing on it and then begin to cut out the pieces that you want inched this is a mirror behind this resist it's a very big mirror so everything that's covered in resist will stay mirror and everything that is not covered will get etched that's a bird I drew some background clouds some foreground shrubbery there's a little bird sitting underneath them it's like a banana leaf tree a banana tree say hello Carmen this is in our studio gallery in Houston Texas this is a showroom area which we will have this mural got some other mirrors there probably do murals on those later a couple of vase pieces some plates we've done six by eight feet six foot by foot mirror there's a glass Vaz there's another one edged this is a piece of marble that's been etched with an Indian bird the gold bird itched painted painted gold on marble this is a tile and it's been carved and filled with colored grout enough you can see very well but that is colored grout on tile thanks for watching see you on the next one
