today we're going to show you how to change the fabric softener dispenser on your washer really easy job and you won't need any tools let me show you how we do it now to do this repair we'll start by opening the washer lid and the fabric softener dispenser is just a friction fit into the agitator so simply grasp the old fabric softener dispenser and pull upwards on while giving a little bump inside if it won't come loose you can take a short flat blade screwdriver just kidding underneath the edge of it a bit give it a bump upwards and slide it out of the agitator you have to install the new one make sure the inside is clean line it up and give it a sharp snap into place and our repair is complete
