Please explain how to paint kitchen units using farrow and ball

hi this is daniel nugent paint and decorator um today i just want to show you um what i'm doing hand painting the kitchen using uh fire and ball paint um basically i started off using a prime runner coat because as you can see the doors are like a self-finished kitchen so um the primer on the coat really does stick very well this is a white and light tones so i did one coat of that and then after that i'm gonna do uh three coats of estate eggshell which is good for the interior um woodwork so this this cupboard already is had two coats and i generally i paint the door shut first and then open it and get the edges afterwards so then it can kind of stay open and dry dry off quite nice so it won't stick so as you can see there's quite a lot to do but it looks very effective and it it doesn't chip it's quite quick drying but i'll generally do one coat a day so it's one coat of the primer on the coat and then three thinned out coats of this day egg shell um i've put about 10 water in um 90 90 paint to 10 water just to just to thin it out and give it a bit of flow otherwise uh you'll find it it will be too thick and you'll get lines and stuff like that you you'll get brush marks um and they use a good synthetic brush as well you need a real good quality one um this is a picasso brush but i mean uh any sort of synthetic brush you don't want to use a lot of hog hair because you get all the hairs coming out in it so yeah that's what you need to do all right so next you got your door so what what i'm doing is i'm just delivering it now with the sandpad getting the moldings and stuff like that just just to take off any kind of light excess corner nibs or whatever um i'm using this is a sandpad you can get them in any diy store now but if you go to decorators merchants you'll be able to pick them up it's a lot easier to use there and this is a real fine grade so you're not going to put scratches in the door um so basically just give it a little dust off or you can use a tap rag as well to pick up any kind of dust and what i generally tend to do is uh get my mouldings first so it's it's basically mouldings first then your middle panel and then your outer edges and then as i say open the door and then get get your edges afterwards and also in here as well um and then you can kind of set it halfway for it to dry
