in this video I will show you how to prepare quince my name is Kat and this is my channel welcome for those of you who are new I will show you how to prepare quince because it is something I've never tried before us in this video is my actual first time trying it so follow me here and we'll prepare it together so as you can see here they bruise quite easily this one I dropped a few times trying to make this video and guess what they smelt really really good but do not try to take a bite into it it is rock-hard will probably break your teeth and it tastes really really tart so you see this one has a bruise yeah that's my bad it's a really good idea to wash anything you bring home you never know who's been touching it yeah so here's a mistake I made because everything just became all oxidized I peeled the quince first and then I did my poaching liquid so do the poaching liquid first or peel the clients who cares you can also put in some water that might prevent it from browning so whatever it is you're doing just do it you gotta try this fruit it's so good so it's rock hard so make sure you're safe when you're cutting this stuff I'm telling you it is rock hard it's probably one of the hardest vegetables slash fruits I've ever ever tried so I'm gonna prepare the poaching liquid I've got cinnamon lime and coconut sugar you can use whatever kind of sugar you want just do remember that white sugar is not being they actually filter it with them charred animal bones and lemon is preferred but I did have lime so you gonna just squeeze it all in there all the liquid and then just drop the whole dating thing in there soak it with some cinnamon and bring it to a boil you're gonna core all the peeled quince and there's this little like casing around the seats which is rock-hard you want to cut that out the best way I found is just too literally just cut it out like this I tried the spoon I hurt myself I didn't even wanna put that in there and then just you know be careful when you're cutting you know always cut away from you and this is something that I thought would be super dangerous if you don't know how to cut fruit be careful so what you're gonna do is just peel it prepare the rest pop it all in there and simmer for about 45 minutes yeah I know it's a long time but trust me it's worth it I didn't even stir it Midway I just put a cover on there and simmer and guess what happened the house became fragrant it smells like Jasmine II kind of honey hair like I can't even describe this flavor it's so delicious it's like honey like straight-up honey and here is the cooked stuff it is so good night served warm if you get some wheat vegan a bit but I can't talk vegan whipped cream I'm just drooling just just thinking about this so get some weed be tulip cream next time and top it off and this is how you prepare quince enjoy guys stay tuned for more and subscribe you
