Please explain how to change a string trimmer, weed eater, weed whacker head

hey is Jason Creole and you're watching the lawn care life youtube channel today i'm going to show you and this may be more applicable for homeowners but maybe you're starting off the lawn care business and you want to know how to change out your trimmer head sometimes that can be frustrating it's really not that hard but if you've never done it before need somebody show you so stay tuned i'll show you how to change out your string trimmer head alright so you got you know a lot of times this what I do and I buy a string trimmer I don't particularly I like the speed feed heads and I talked about that and that's on my recommended products page which there's a link in the description too but you know you comes with a factory head if you don't like it you know if you like that it's fine but if you want to change it out which is what I do from the very beginning what I actually do is I take the original one off and I'll put it and sell it and get a little bit of money for it and then put the speed feed head on there so let me try to do you know you can take a screwdriver this way most of them work at least the screwdriver and now just something kind of small and it will have a little you know this is a steel trimmer here but if you can see there's a there's a little there's a little hole right here on the top side of the head it's actually part of the trimmer not of the head but if you'll just stick that stick a nail or screw driver in that little hole and you might have to turn the head until and then you'll fill till the screwdriver will slide down a little slot and that holds it holds up holds its steel so where you can turn it's actually threaded the opposite way of the way normal things are straited so you're going to actually turn to the right to take it off so see there so now hold it and you just twist it to the right pop the old head off here's a speed feed heads not brand new but I'm going to put this on so I still got the screwdriver or the nail whatever using down that same hole and then obviously turn it the opposite way so you can actually turn to the left to tighten it to get this different threaded back on there a lot of times you buy the speed feed heads you know the if it doesn't fit your trimmer you may have to put an adapter on it to get it going stuff and once you get threaded on there spin it and then you just you know hand tight is good enough so alright it's on there so that's how you change out a a head on your shrink Trevor again I recommend these speed feed heads I like them and to me just make sense not having to take the cap off and whine the line around every time so that's something that I recommend you do it take the factory head off and put the speed feed head off alright hope this helps subscribe the channel if you want more helpful tips on lawn care thanks a lot bye
