you will only need a few simple materials a piece of felt three different sizes of PVC pipe and some PVC pipe world the first piece of pipe needs to be the same as your barrel material and have lots of evenly spaced holes at quarterly intervals the next piece should be a small stub of material which fits very tightly around the barrel material like this and the last piece of pipe needs to loosely fit around the barrel material so that there's a little bit of a gap in between to assemble it we first take the stub and the barrel and put them together like this then take the felt and wrap it around the barrel like this and take the last piece of pipe and carefully slide it over the top of this felt this may take a while to get right before you push it down all the way take a little bit of pipe weld and put it around the edge here this will secure it in place and create a seal and just spread it out from here you could just leave it as it is but I'm going to add a piece of duct tape around the seam in order to cover the glue of course you could paint it or do whatever you want in order to improve the aesthetics here is the silencer finished but now we need to test it to make sure that it actually works it will work with any blaster which has a real functioning barrel I'm going to be using this modified fire strike first let's test it without the silencer for comparison and now with the silencer as you can hear the silencer removes the very sharp pop which occurs when the dart fires out however the range is also reduced due to the extra friction of the barrel this means that you won't get quite as much power out of your blaster so it's a trade-off between whether you want it to be silent or not I hope you enjoyed the video thanks for watching
