upon installation or perhaps even after an extended power outage you will see a flashing time of day screen to reset that to the current time of day push the set clock button once at this point you'll see the flashing value is the adjustable value you're going to adjust that with a plus and minus keys to reflect the current hour note the AM PM indicator over on the right-hand side of the screen what's the hour is set push the clock button one more time again using plus and minus keys to adjust the minutes with the current time of day set push the clock button one more time at this point we will use the plus and minus keys to adjust to the current day of the week what's the current day of the week is set push clock at this point we'll return you back to the home screen showing the current time of day and current day of the week to building to the Installer setup screens you're going to push and hold the next and plus button simultaneously first screen you'll encounter there is the water hardness again this flashing value can be adjusted with the plus and minus keys this needs to reflect the accurate hardness level of your water what's that value set push the next button once at this screen you will have the days in between the regeneration again a flashing value can be adjusted with the plus and minus keys once that value is set push the next button again this is our regeneration time this is preset to regenerate in the middle of the night but can be adjusted with the plus and minus keys once the regeneration hour is programmed in push the next button once and here you can adjust the minutes again adjusting is done with the plus and minus keys once the regeneration time is set push the next button again these service alarms are here to set reminders for filter changes perhaps service calls and that is to be set by the dealer the backlit display is normally on this can be adjusted after five minutes of inactivity where the backlight would shut off on this it is on all the time here again after five minutes of inactivity the backlight will shut down you push the next button and you're back to the home screen with the current time of day and current day of the week
