its flowers and because of its excellent fragrance there are two types of rose one is desi gulab also known as Indian rose and one is English rose the common difference between them is Indian rose is small in size while the English rose is bigger in size and second difference is Indian rose has an excellent fragrance, you can feel it from distance as well while English rose doesn't have much fragrance instead almost have no fragrance but flower size is bigger that is why English rose looks more beautiful in looking I don't like rose plant till few time back because my opinion was that this is a seasonal plant it only grows in one season and then ends when season ends this plant starts dying and it is very difficult to see plants dying but my this concept is changed now now I know the care of this plant how we can save this plant in summer as well and if we care this plant well then this will flower in summers as well if you take care of the plant's health then this could survive whole year how we can make its health better this is what I will share with you in this video very first thing that I want to share with you about this plant is that the most important thing for the growth of this plant is its soil rose plant likes well drainage soil in which water doesn't stay for long time and drains out quickly that soil liked by this plant this plant doesn't like clay soil if the soil of the rose plant is hard clay soil then what you can do for its health is took soil from the sides of the pot and add sand in the pot in place of that soil and water it full after adding sand in it repeat this process after 15-20 days this is how you can make soil well drainage and make the soil sandy and water will not stay for long in it and your plant start growing well rose plant doesn't like overwatering whenever you overwater this plant your plant start rotting so don't overwater your plant but water it when the soil is completely dry then water it full these are very sensitive plants they doesn't bear excess of anything either fertilizer, water, sunlight or shade, if you place it in sunlight for a long then this will damage plant if you place it in shades for a long then plant will also start rotting if you over fertilize it then it will burn and if you overwater it then this will also damage the plant for flowering of the rose plant it requires minimum of 6 hours direct sunlight place it where it gets sunlight of 6 hours minimum and after that daylight is enough and shade for the rest of the day if you place it in shades then it keeps growing its leaves branches and stems will grow but there won't be many flowers on it flowering depends on 2 things one is how much sunlight you offered to your plant as much as you place it in direct sunlight it will have more flowers and second thing is how well you prune your plant now you can see my plant is like an empty plant because I have prune it already I have branch prune it this is what you can see all its branches are pruned because it was growing very wild and few of them starts drying so I have pruned it before making this video bit earlier as much as you branch prune rose plant that much branches will grow and one branch contains one flower so after branch pruning it will have more branches it means more flowers on the plant rose plant likes acidic soil sour soil and how we can make soil acidic you can use white vinegar in the soil I have already make a video on that there is a link of that video on top you can watch it how I made the soil acidic for a croton plant PH should be 6.5 for a rose plant in that soil plant grows best and its roots gets proper food in that PH soil and provide food to plant and enhances the growth of the plant cut the branches that seems dry and separate from the plant because this is the fungus due to which branches starts drying and this fungus could spread in whole plant and here are the some branches you can see they are also drying like this one I am cutting it like this and one is this, I am cutting it too and I have already pruned many and this flower after wilting when they wilt after blooming cut it also because on wilting they will consume enough of plant's energy either we don't like to cut flower if it is on your plant but for plants health it is necessary to cut them off cut the wilted flowers because they took enough energy form plant and cause problems for the new flowers and energy will not remain enough for new flowers and flowers will not grow in best size and will not be fresh on the plant winter is the season of rose plant flowering before that in summers don't concentrate on flowering of the plant just concentrate on the health of the plant if there are flowers in summers cut them early so that your plant will be more bushy and grows well for winters when winter arrives then your plant will be ready for full flowering with good health not with a bad health like this I have pruned it and its leaves are also less in numbers and branches are also less I have cut it to make it ready for the coming season winter is just starting when there is full season and flowering time of rose plant then this plant will be ready with new branches and will have new flowers on it and this plant will look more gorgeous and beautiful prune the rose plant and shower it with water and keep it clean with regular pruning then this plant will keep growing not only in winters but also in summers see these dead black branches these are the ones you can see and one is here cut them also otherwise this fungus damage the whole branch by spreading and your rose plant start dying separate the hard and dead branches from the plant cut them and separate them then this plant will keep growing now we will talk about its fertilizer then the cow dung is the best fertilizer for rose plant but don't apply in summers in May, June, July and August but only apply in winters this is the best time to fertilize plant and plant takes it easily without any damage because fertilizer is hot it won't damage your plant in winters but whenever you apply only apply in less amount and give full water after applying fertilizer whenever you offer fertilizer to your plant and remember that best fertilizer for this plant is cow dung only and see this there are many weeds in the pot they also get enough energy of the soil and roots won't get proper energy from soil so whenever there are weeds in your plant's pot uproot these weeds as early as possible or otherwise dig the soil after sometime digging will automatically uproot these weeds and roots will get more energy from soil and gets more food and provide food to plant and makes plant healthy this is the information that I have to share with you in
