today we're going to make a bling doctor mask the first part of making the mask is you need to go and buy any in if you have one that's finest by any structure of like a mask we got a simple one just eye holes and we're going to put it up like this so when we get to the big part we're going to build a beak on this so the materials are going to need for this is of course like I said a mask some cardboard build a beak and then for the eye holes we also cut out these little plastic and we put it we're going to put as the eyes also going to need some newspaper for the paper mache and some water also going to need some glue gun glue sticks and right now we're just going to build the base of the plague document there are three steps making a plague doctor mask make a base so we can build the cardboard on and either tape or hock put some hot glue around the card the cardboard the second step is to put some paper mache over the third step is of course paint it and also don't forget the eye hose I'm sketching the beak so just have to draw a little example and some cardboard I missing the darking what I already drew you mess up a little bit doesn't matter so remember you're going to cut over the rest almost done now we have a folded piece of cardboard has two sides so that means let me cut it will have to even sides so you both look like it's a 3d shape so now we're just going to cut now we've done is we have taped the bottom like this so now it's a perfect peak so if you see we build it on looks pretty good like a big now gluing this lens's on another I please are being blue in now I'm going to glue in the edges of the eyepiece at since we have this mask glued I'll show you it's not totally stable so drying but still pretty stable I'm now doing the finish taping so I'm just going to let some layers because member if you think your automatic is saying oh this looks horrible there's so much glue everywhere does not matter because when you put the paper mache to look great so we're just making a little bridge around try to make so I'm gonna just putting some on the tip another little air so let's put more tape on now we're going to put some tape in the middle so looking pretty great there's table over so we're going to have a frame pretty strong right now after this horde from this next step is make some paper mache so get some newspaper I'll use newspaper and get some short and medium pieces so we can cover the eyelids and or thing so the greens you're going to need is just mixes one cup of flour and teaspoon of salt and one cup of water so we're going to take the water and just pour it in now we're going to take a whisk I'm just going to and you have to whisk it around like this so kind of get a nice smell - I'm covering the mask with some paper mache so I yeah just dunk it in there look at both sides keep coming outside just place it over the beak like this moles done so I'm just going to fill up the air bubbles so just put it on in here you want too much so I'm gonna find air bubbles you might get a little messy when I'll fire you I would put some blue tape sex scotch tape on here so just after we're done paper mache we can just peel that off and see through it because you definitely don't want to put paper mache over the wood bye it's time to let everything dry we're going to make the mask dark brown to make it almost look black since you've seen this picture that's when we're using so now we're going to mix a couple of paints and make the color dark brown can mix a bunch of colors together there and being brown we've got a delicious baby poop brown color we use some light yellow some blue greens and brown and black so delicious I can just eat it with baby good diarrhea now I have a lot of paint on it I'm almost done with the first coat so if you see it turn this around I face time now paying the second coat of dark brown do you think it's gonna look stupid it's gonna dry and look pretty dark soon so we finished the mask the only thing since we use the heat gun is you kind of melt a little lens but it's all fine because we're gonna gonna fix it later but to now rubber band put it on you look pretty good so I forgot this I mean it's like a hood or something like that no scary hood to make it look your Halloween costume if this is for your home and so yeah
