Please explain how to make a thank you card to put on a decorated table : name tags & cards

hi there my name is Jessica Delfino I live in New York City I love to make crafts and I'm actually part of a crafts group here called crafter math you can find us online at crafter math blog spot.com today I'm gonna show you how to make a thank-you card to put on a decorated table so I've got a piece of cardstock here I've chosen green and the first thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take my cardstock and fold it in half and make sure that my edges match up so that it's like pretty level 1/2 and I'm just gonna take sometimes it actually is handy to take a pen or something and just run it along the edge of the fold and that will make your fold nice and even and smooth which is a nice touch now I've got this card that opens basically it's gonna get sat on the table like this so you want to keep it you know kind of folded so that it will stand upright now I'm going to write thank you on this card using glitter and glue so I've got my glue here I'm gonna make sure that the top does not have any dried glue bees on it and I'm gonna take my glue and I'm just gonna write the words thank you so I'm gonna do it by eye and I'm gonna do it in cursive and so I'm just gonna take my time and just bring it you know move kind of slowly and make sure that I can fit all my letters in don't take up too much room that's a good tip a pro tip just do as much as you can keeping things close together and then you'll have more room and then you can stretch out a little bit more towards the last few letters so as you can see there are a few little places here where the glue didn't quite get even which is not a problem you can just go back through and touch up any spots that seem a little sparse if you will there we go there we go okay now I'm going to take my glitter and I'm going to sprinkle it as evenly as possible over this and I'm going to do that on top of a piece of paper the reason I'm going to do it on top of a piece of paper is so that I can save the excess glue and glitter and use it again so I'm gonna use purple glitters so that it stands out a little bit and feel free to use any colors you like I like colors that kind of contrast against each other because it makes a really dramatic statement and I'm something of a drama queen so I appreciate that okay so just go ahead don't be ashamed to use extra glitter because whatever you don't use we're gonna dump it on the paper and put it back into the container anyway so put that glitter on there I always let it sit for a second but sometimes I'm just so excited I can't wait to see what it looks like so I just go ahead and jump the gun a little and as you can see it looks pretty nice this one came out pretty good so we're just gonna set it like that as you would on your decorated table and that's pretty much all there is to it that is how you make a thank-you card to go on a decorated table happy crafting
