right now I'd like to show you how easy it is to make a full batch of calico fudge when making chocolate fudge the first thing you want to do is turn the kettle on high put two pounds of butter in the kettle let's to cut it up into at least six possibly eight pieces it's up to you we like to put our butter in first and then your seven cups of water it may vary by where you live in your humidity next we'll be taking our part one and placing it in the kettle and we'll be turning on our kettle for seven minutes meanwhile you can get your pans ready your ingredients together and then we'll be ready to add the chocolate mix okay our part one is done and now what we're going to do is add our part to our chocolate mix gonna take tops off the bags with our scissors cut straight across on or floor and then we're just going to pour them right in we get all four in set the timer for ten minutes and remember at one point stop the kettle and scrape down the sides get all around the kettle scrape the excess fudge off the top on the sides give it a quick turn you've got that all done now we're going to add five teaspoons of calico vanilla flavoring we're gonna set our timer for 20 minutes and then you'll have the most delicious fudge you've ever had
