so okay so the items we will need today is a hurricane shaped vase i purchased this one from dollar general i believe for i believe it was two dollars it's a little bit larger than what they have at the dollar tree but you can find these um anywhere or you can use the smaller base from dollar tree also we will use a tapered candle holder from the dollar tree some bling wrap your glue gun mirror effect spray as well as the frosted glass spray nail polish remover any acetone based remover as well as my e6000 and you also need scissors and i might use some two-sided tape as well as any type of paper i'm using um sticky notes because they do have the little sticky adhesive on it so those are the things that we will need for this particular project so we're going to start this out by i'm just going to take one of these sticky notes and i'm going to fold this in half and cut out a heart shape and i'm not you know drawing any type of stencil or anything i'm just cutting it out okay so that's my heart shape and i think i am going to add a little bit of double-sided tape on here okay so i'm going to apply a little bit of double-sided tape on here just to um make sure it holds where i want it to go and this tape you can purchase from the dollar tree if you can't find any there you can also find it at any office supply store or walmart but whatever you use with this you want to make sure something that comes off easily won't become permanently stuck to your vase so i'm actually just going to place this on my base and just kind of eyeball it to get it towards the middle of the vase okay so that's where i will place it i'm actually going to take my vase outside and apply my frosted glass spray to it okay so i'm going to go spray that and i'll be right back so the frost has dried on the candle holder i did mess up a little bit in the back and tried to fix it you see it's not as dark but it still looks okay and you see the shape of the heart it came out really well so i don't even have to clean it up however if you do this and it's not as clean as you want it um you would just take your acetone or nail polish remover and a q-tip and um just clean around and it would just come right off you may have to like rub it a little bit to get it um as clean as you want it but mine came out perfect so i don't have to do anything to it so um that's the actual candle holder and here is the bottom part and i just sprayed it with the mirror finish actually sprayed it on the outside you would usually spray the inside so that you can have the mirror look on the outside i decided to do it on the outside to make it a little bit darker so we're going to go ahead and start adding the bling to this okay now i've already cut out exactly what i need and you can use the bling wrap from dollar tree uh this particular balloon i purchased from walmart um so we're just going to go around i'm going to add a little bit of my e6000 and as well as hot glue and i'm just adding this to make sure it does not come off if i can get it out i'm going to attach the candle holder here and i'm going to use um same thing some of the e6000 as well as some hot glue so that it can seal a little bit quicker do and what i did um this has eight sides i believe i just did every other side and then i'll fill in the gaps just try to make sure we center this and even though i use the hot glue i'm still going to sit something heavy on top of this and leave it for about an hour before i um finish the candle holder just to make sure it does not slide so i'm going to leave this and then once it dries a little i'll be back to finish it so i decided to um add this frame to go with the candle holders the photo holders and i'm going to spray paint this in a metallic silver and just add some bling to it i think it'll look nicely with the candle holder so let's get started on this okay so i'm going to work on the picture frame and i've already spray painted it with the metallic spray and it's really really pretty you want to come say hey everybody come on inside hey everybody welcome to my mommy graduation okay so um we have the picture frame i've already spray painted it and allowed it to dry um and i'm just going to use the same bling wrap to blend out the middle portion of the frame so i'm going to do just the inside portions of it okay so i've already cut out my bling and i've tapered the corners to fit the picture frame exactly so um so you can just cut right across the stones and it won't mess it up it would just cut right through where you need to cut so i have two of these and two of the shorter ones to go across the top edge so um again i'm going to use a little bit of the e6000 just to make sure it stays and i'm just going to put like a little bit towards the middle of where i'm going to put the bling wrap i'm going to go ahead and add that all the way around and then i'll use the hot glue to finish securing occurring all right hey guys i'm back so i am going to um finish up the vase by adding a little bit more bling to it i'm going to add some around the bottom like this and a little bit around the top portion and i think i'm just going to add this with the hot glue again you can add a little bit of um e6000 or some other type of craft glue to make sure it does not come off so we're just going to use this blue hot glue for time sake so so so what about a candle yeah it's not lined up perfectly right i'm going to straighten that up a little bit and then when i come back i'll show you everything put together so hey guys here's the finished product it turned out so beautiful i completely love these candle holders they added such an elegant touch to my bedroom i completely love candles so this was perfect for me i decided to add a few extra embellishments i added a 4x4 square in a diagonal pattern on each side of the tapered candle holder at the bottom as well as an additional row of diamond wrap on the picture frame as well as two rows in each corner of the frame it finished it off very nicely i simply love this project and hope that you do too please try it and let me know how yours turn out please don't forget to subscribe
