in this tutorial I'm going to show you how to set up a communication system with your unconscious mind using finger signals and a pendulum and then I'm going to show you how to calibrate the pendulum for yes/no responses so this is a hypnosis mat it's got two sides to it you can download the mat for free from Abby Eagle comm print it out take it to an office shop and getting to laminate it with plastic so then you've got a hypnosis mat that you can leave on your coffee table at home you will also need a pendulum I make my pendulums using a marble with a little jewelry bit from a haberdashery shop and then a length of string which is a soft string which is about a foot long or 30 centimeters long so to start with we have to set up we have to learn how to use the pendulum so on the bottom you'll see there's a cut the circles and this these arrows here so we start over here you take your pendulum wrap the string around your finger pinch it neatly and then you get it moving in the direction of the arrow and then we get it moving there Drex to the other arrow we come around here side to side side to side she's quite hip like yourself and then up and down up and down so they're the four choices we offer the unconscious mind then we pause the pendulum then add aloud you say unconscious mind I'd like you to move the pendulum to indicate a yes signal so my case it goes in a clockwise direction I thank the unconscious mind then I say unconscious mind I'd like you to move the pendulum to indicate a no signal go so it goes from side to side I verify the signals I say please give me the yes signal once again there it goes moves back in the clockwise direction thank you and please give me the no signal once again and there it is he goes from side to side so my yes is in the clockwise and I know it was from side to side yours may be the same or it could be different so now we turn the map over we take an item which in this case is Al I'm addressing my unconscious mind I ask is this lime beneficial for me I get a yes response but how beneficial a little or a lot we don't know do it so that's why we have to learn how to use this scale here and you start by putting your pendulum at the apex and you get it moving along the first line then what we got to do is just get the pendulum just moving nice and smoothly so it lines up the swing lines up with each of those lines it's a bit more challenging when it gets around to the right-hand side if you're right-handed so goes all the way around there we go then we put the line back and now I ask to what degree to what degree out of 10 is this line beneficial for me so it moves around up to about 10 goes past 10 goes 11 maybe 12 13 rather goes to maybe about 16 and also this swings quite big so the unconscious mind is communicating through the scale but also through the size of the swing so I think the unconscious mind and then I put a bag of pepitas pumpkin seeds and I quite see it I asked unconscious mind to what degree are these four Peters beneficial to me and it goes right down to three goes down to zero and the swings quite small so I think my unconscious mind then I take a block of coconut cream and I ask to what degree is that coconut cream beneficial for me goes to 11 goes past goes around here and then it goes to about maybe 18 and the swing is very big so once again I think my unconscious mind okay so now it's your turn you so when we talk to people you know if you're lucky you're well for me especially you've talked to somebody if we're lucky we'll find they're actually the person is like nodding their head free yes yeah you know generally they shaking their head for a no no but what it is it's like we don't really do the move consciously it's like it's a communication from the unconscious mind so when I'm actually like talking and I gesture like this it's not so much that I doing it consciously but the thoughts get converted into micro muscle movement so we're all people are always communicating there's little head nods and finger movements and breathing changes and smiles and all that sort of stuff yeah and so you know good communicators learn to read you know body language so what we're doing here is we want to set up a communication system with your unconscious might where like we get a very clear signal for yes and a very clear signal for note all right so the way that we do it is I'd like you to gaze in the direction the wall over there now as you gaze in that direction I'd like you to know you can see all the way across to the curtains over there and all the way across to me over here alright so actually just continue gazing in that direction yeah just keep looking in that direction but notice you can see me in your peripheral vision so now I'd like you to explore the peripheral vision and you'll find that movement stands out and shadows so there are two major distinctions in peripheral vision is movement and shadows you'll also it's maybe no two objects seen to lose their names make up objects and shapes colors lose their names and become colors there's textures reflections they seem to lose their names that's like you look at the blue cushion it's just now it's just like a blue you know it's not a blue color it's just a blue you know and there's textures reflections shiners and you might be wondering about some of those things so as you continue to gaze that direction exploring your peripheral vision I like you to bring awareness to the auditory challenge notice the sounds that are around you Saturday fan and some traffic outside sound of my voice and you might be wondering about some of those things so as you continue to gaze that direction exploring the peripheral vision the sounds that around you're likely to bring your awareness back to your body noticing the the breathing of your body noticing the weighting of your feet on all the the resting of your legs over the chair the resting of your hands on the arms of the chair the breathing in your body I like to bring the awareness to your lower back and to the middle of your back because they're the same way you have a front to your body you have a back to your body same way you have a front to your mind you've it back to your mind same you have a conscious mind you have an unconscious mind and the unconscious mind can be conceptualized as a silent partner is always with you will do absolutely anything that should ask as long as you task it in the correct manner and as I said before what we want to do we want to set up a signal system where we get a very clear signal for a year so no so it could be that your unconscious mind decides to move a finger for a yes or it could be the unconscious mind decison of thumb for no it doesn't matter which finger or which thumb was long as it's obvious enough for me to see so now I'd like to invite your unconscious mind to move a finger or a thumb to indicate the yes signal thank you like to invite your unconscious mind to move a finger or thumb to indicate a no single thank you you okay you got the I take that please so what we do we have this so it's got the room so that's slightly different to the way we normally do it so this is for you this is your pendulum so you see these arrows on there okay this is what we're gonna do I'm gonna demonstrate so I'll demonstrate over here I just can't move the table across you only have it closer alright so what I do hold my arm out like so it's nice and relaxed alright and I hold it over the first one and I get it moving in the direction of the arrow like so and then I come around here get it smooth transition so now it's goes clockwise then we come around here and I let it swing side to side and then we go up and down so they're the four choices I offer the unconscious mind then I say unconscious might I'd like you to move the pendulum to indicate a yes signal so my case it goes in the clockwise direction so I thank my unconscious wise name thank you I can just like that's a unconscious mind I'd like you to move the pendulum between Decatur nose signal and it goes inside to side so I think that conscious point as I do so my thumb actually moves so the unconscious Minds communicating through my fingers over here and through this pendulum over there now I've got to verify the signal say say please give me the yes signal once again you guys at clockwise thank you not make the finger MERS please give the no signal once again there it goes smoke thank you so now it's your turn first of all you gotta start it and you move it anti-clockwise I'll show you how to use it all right so what you do rather than actually moving your hand around like that it's like you look let let it just be sort of like stay still yeah and it's like the whole body moves slightly so now get the whole body moves so it actually goes in a clockwise all right so now actually do that and get it moving in the first one so it goes anti-clockwise but just like that no they keep moving yet that's see that's really good all right and then clockwise all right and then up and down and then site the site there we go that's really good so now I like just pause it like so and then out of layout I'd like you to say unconscious mind I'd like you to move the pendulum to indicate a yes signal unconscious mind I'd like you to move the pendulum to give me a yes signal there it goes it's going a clockwise direction so let her have a little bit more energy so it gets a little bit bigger it's really good because it have a really good strong yes so you thank your unconscious mind and then say unconscious mind I'd like you to move the pendulum to indicate a no signal unconscious mind I'd like you to move the pendulum for it to indicate a strong no signal all right so go side to side did have a little bit more energy it's really good because it's really important have a really good strong about see thank your unconscious mind and we verify the single say please Gary yes so please give me your signal once again yes you know once again all right so yes it'll be the same signal over and over again that's really good thank you please give it a no signal won't you please give it a nice signal once again thank you all right so now we move on to the next step you've got to water here take off your own you're easy I can't get a glass of water calibrated from zero to ten so now what I have to do is I have to learn how to use this because it's like a tool so I hope the pendulum near the apex and I got it get it moving along each of those lines like so then I put the line back down addressing my unconscious mind I ask to what degree out of 10 is the line beneficial to me now I can start anywhere I don't have to start down there I can start anywhere because I trust my unconscious mind to move in the right direction so it goes around it goes nine ten it goes eleven it goes past or up and the kids going around and it goes to maybe about seventeen and also the swings a little bit bigger - so the unconscious mind is communicating through the scalp but also through the the intensity of the swing all right so I say thank you unconscious mind and then we have our other table test item so now these are for PETA's pumpkin seeds I ask to what degree the pumpkin seeds beneficial that's about six goes down five four three two goes down to zero all right so say thank you coconut cream from Sri Lanka I asked what degrees the coconut cream beneficial to me it goes to ten goes past as maybe if thing and it goes to about say all had these ideas about nutrition which they keep changing all the time you know cuz it's based upon their ideas you know and you know here right yeah well here we learn it we learn to trust our
