Today the DIY tutorial is on how to make a box for your creations in particular a box to send your creations (crafts) to your customers sometimes we can't find the box with the right size so you need to Do It Yourself This box is not perfect but this tutorial is intended as a starting guide for you :) Very Important: thumbs up and Subscribe to my Channel for more videos And now let's start What we need for this project: First of all a cardboard one bead with large hole 2 rubber bands I used white but you can choose the color you want a hot gun one double sided tape scissors a ruler and of course one pencil an exacto knife for the covering I used 2 A4 Colored sheets but you can use Fabric or wrapping paper First, we draw the pattern in the cardboard we cut the cardboard like this these are the measures that I used for this project now, I use the exacto knife to press along the lines that we have drawn on cardboard be careful not to press too much now we redraw the design on color paper now we do the same with the other 2 pieces after that we proceed to cut our color paper Sorry I thought I had filmed that :P now we will cover the inside of the box first we put our transparent PVC GLUE on the cardboard now we overlap pieces previously cut like this and then we do the same with the other 2 pieces now we have to mark the folds of our cardboard using again our exacto knife this part is difficult because I used a too thin sheet make sure not to make the same mistake because the bending procedure can tear the paper then carefully using the X-Acto knife press again where you have to bend the box don't worry if the X-Acto knife leaves some marks because it will covered by the glue we put the hot glue and bend at 90 ° repeat this step and leave the last side to be folded in the opposite direction now it's time to glue the other 2 sides we put the glue and keep the side in place recalls that the colored part goes inside and let's do this again put the glue and keep cardboard in place for few seconds now we should have something like this Time to cover some spot with this washi tape as alternative you can use a ribbon or whatever tape you want now we have to cover the outside I used a thick sheet of 200mg I cut off a strip of 28x2,5cm bend in half and cut again now we put a strip of double sided tape in corners then attach the 2 strips of paper from the paper sheet a cut a strip to cover the rest of the box position the box above the strip in this way it's easier to see at what point we must bend the paper than with the pencil I marked the spots I bend the paper using a ruler starting from the edge of the top I attached the cover with double side tape now let's work on the closing of the box I used 2 rubber bands and 1 bead with large hole I cut a rubber band and put it in the bead and we make a doube knot to stop the elastic now, on the center of the box side, we make a hole with the X-Acto knife now using a screwdriver or any tool you have for example I used a tool for sculpting insert the rubber band in the hole and secure it inside the box with the hot gun after that, I bended the last piece of cover and secured it with the washi tape then I made an hole in the lid of the box here you have to insert the other rubber band but it's not easy I eventually had to use a crochet hook then I glued the elastic inside then I covered the whole thing with washi tape now the box is almost over now I finished sides using washi tape and that's it Our box is ready to use Thank you so much for watching see you next week bye bye
