Shh hey guys it's Lexy and today I'm going to be doing a little cooking experiment project and what I'm going to be doing is making donuts out of biscuits I have never ever done this before so I am learning as you guys are I've just looked at a couple tutorials and now I decided that I want to learn while teaching you guys so let's get right into it so for the donuts all you really need is the biscuits and what you cook it in is just like an oil I'm using canola oil because that's when I had the most of as you can see this is your mom guess and then for the glaze all you need is salt confection sugar or powdered sugar whatever you call it and vanilla extract and water you need water - for the glaze so I know I'm just gonna I am NOT a professional biscuit opener my life just flashed before my nice okay okay it's a mountain of flubber so now I'm just going to separate them give them their own little space there you go little biscuit now that I have my biscuits off spread out I'm going to put holes in them but I don't exactly know what size hole I want yet so I'm an experiment with both I have a little water bottle cap here and then I have this little jar that was from Target had a little cork top so cute okay so you press the bottle cap in yeah twist let's try the other one too okay so we have one tiny little excusive a doughnut hole now let's go this one yeah twist twist twist twist we're straight straight straight this is the difference and the size of the doughnut hole between the two this is the bottle cap this is the jar thing this looks like a much more satisfactory toilet hole so I think I'm gonna go with those and then this is the difference in donut now we're just gonna finish these bad boys up so now we can move into the cooking process these could be earrings hello I'm Stacey yeah No have your handy dandy oil your handy-dandy pot and your handy-dandy laws and pour so while we're waiting for the oil to heat up for our little uncooked Donuts we are going to make the glaze that's about 1 cup 1 cup 2 cup cheese a small sugar 3 cups dump next we're gonna add our 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla 1/2 teaspoon so the same amount as the salt oh yeah now we just add 1/2 cup of water or milk it's up to you and we beat it you beat it up I think our glaze is done and this is a scary part popping them in alright now you want to cook it for 1 minute on each side so let's timer safe distance it or until golden brown so I guess um the temperature that you have it on depends on how long you have it on each side so you should just really watch it and not just count on your timer because your timer could be off so just make sure that you're monitoring it and just seeing when it turns the right color oh there you go my children be free and these ones are a little dark because I want to experiment with what color makes the right taste that I want or the right texture and consistency so like I said before this is it Wow okay like it but like I said before this is an experimental process so I'm just testing out different things to see what I'm gonna like and I suggest you do the same things but I will give you my suggestions on what color I think mom turned out the best first round of blaze Donuts here some of them I gave a second layer of glaze but some of them I'm just going to keep make sure to leave a comment below comment what your favorite donut is like this video and subscribe to my channel for more fun videos thank you guys for watching and I will see you next time that's a good Dona
