so I'm just finishing up this property cleaning up the yard came here to put some new caulking around this this side door I noticed the parching at the bottom of the doorway was crumbling a little I figured okay I'll just tip off the loose parching and reap Argent so I start chipping away there's a lot of loose partying on there so not only there's a concrete seal you see the window sill up there the original concrete seal that was under this door they the guys pulled it out the previous owner or somebody pulled it out completely and replaced it with bricks I can't just barge over loose loose brick the water gets into those joints just freezes in the winter and blows it all apart I'm just going to pour a concrete curb right in place pin some rebar into the ends of the opening put a form across the front here and then I'm just going to pour a concrete curb that goes right underneath here so we want to keep it a little bit low then we'll parge over it and we'll create a slope that comes from underneath away and then we'll it it's never what you expect it to be you
