hey our friends we've drawn a pig before we've actually drawn a pig twice huh yeah what's with you a long time ago and then also with austin but today we're not drawing a pig what are we gonna do we're gonna fold and pig yeah we're gonna pull the pig out of paper oinky all right you guys we hope you're gonna follow along with us you have a piece of paper in front of you we're gonna be using origami paper right what's so special about origami paper it's square yes square yeah it's colored on one side we're going to be using pink because usually pigs are pink right yeah if you don't have origami paper that's okay you could use regular computer paper just cut it into a square before we start you ready all right let's do this all right checkers so we're going to start with our paper with the color side up okay and we're going to fold it in half and we're going to fold the color side in so the white should be on the outside all right okay fold it in half like that and you can use your finger now you want to make sure the edges are lined up really straight and then you can use your fingernail to uh crease that fold perfectly nice and crisp crispy bacon crisp berry bacon all right you got it yeah perfect okay now we're going to take the top edge and we're going to fold it down to this bottom edge we're creating a little bit of a fan fold and line it up and make sure those edges line up just right and then use your fingernail to make it make it crispy you're a weird child all right we're gonna we're gonna flip it over and we're gonna do the same thing on this side we're gonna fold this edge down to the bottom over to the side line it up and then crisp it your finger made a noise there we go make it nice and even and straight okay now we're gonna now we want to make sure that it opens up on the bottom okay so the white or the fan part the this middle fold right here is the bottom okay it's not a it's not an airplane so make sure that that's at the bottom right and then we're going to take this top corner and we're going to fold it down so that it makes a triangle so we're folding this edge right here down to the bottom we'll make that diagonal fold okay and we're going to do the same thing on the other side so we're going to take this corner and we're going to fold it down do the same thing so this edge fold it down to the bottom okay then we're going to flip it over and we're going to do the same thing on the other side you're going fast good job not a race i know although i do want to win i won good job all right i'm gonna do the same on this side okay you ready for the next step your oinker's his way all right okay i almost got it here we go there we go all right so now we're going to fold down this line right here so we see this edge we're going to take the triangle we're going to fold it towards the middle okay and these are going to be pre these are prefolds or guide folds so we're going to be opening it up and then using these folds to make different folds okay okay so we'll fold that down and then we're going to open that back up and we'll do the same on this side fold that towards the middle like that and then open it back up and we're going to open up the other folds too like that so you should see a little box on each side with a diagonal fold down the middle okay now we're gonna take this bottom corner right here and we're gonna reverse that fold you can put your finger down inside we're gonna open it up and reverse that that fold so that you should see a bigger triangle and you'll have this little flap that should be right there we're gonna okay so we're just gonna take we're gonna open it up and we're gonna take this bottom corner like that i wasn't watching that's okay and then we're going to reverse that fold squash it down like that i'll let you finish it okay good yes and then we're going to do the same on this side so take that bottom the bottom corner so it's opened up and you should be able to see the white if you're using origami paper you should see the white on the inside i'm going to open it up and then squash that down like that good job okay and we're going to flip it over and we're going to repeat those steps for this square or for these for these edges so we're going to open this one up too and do the same thing reverse the fold out there we go and squash it down you getting it yeah open it all the way there you go yes good job let's see what happened here i saw that that's okay they'll help you so let's make sure we got those folds we can fold this one more time so that the guide fold will help straighten it out there we go i'll squish it down like that there you go that's okay for a little help huh yeah you don't mind if i help you yeah okay good teamwork right and then we're gonna do the same on the other side so all the all uh both sides should look the same you should have these big triangles on each side all right you got it okay cool all right next step we're gonna make his legs okay so the first step we're gonna this is gonna be his back on this side and we'll do his head on this side so we're gonna make his legs so we got these little flaps right here right and so we're gonna take this flap first and we're gonna fold this edge right here towards the middle of the triangle i'm going to fold it it's almost like you're making an airplane like that crisp it bacon up okay we got that we got that fold in there so this one we're gonna we're going to fold it this way so we'll take this triangle fold it forward and then we're going to do the same thing so we fold them in the same direction right we're going to fold this this edge towards the middle we're folding an airplane like that okay now we're gonna close this one up we'll fold it backwards like that so it should kind of look like the same symmetrical right okay now we're gonna flip it over and we're going to do the same on this side but we got to reverse it right so we're going to take this back one where now it's the front one and we're going to fold this edge towards the middle so keep it like that yep and then fold that one towards the middle there you go so it should look exactly the same as the one on the other side so fold it it should look exactly the same see how those these are the two legs and they look exactly the same all right now we're going to do the same over here we're going to fold this one back or towards the front and then fold this edge right here towards the middle and then this one's not gonna look like the other side until we fold it back back like that awesome we got his legs in there is that cool okay let's flip him back over because this is the front and then this is the back okay so now let's fold his back or his butt all right so we're gonna fold this corner up it's a little pointy so we need to round it off let's fold the point up to the top so we're gonna we're gonna take that and fold it up oh now it looks like a little less pointy still kind of pointy and then we're going to open it up so that's a guide fold okay okay you got it then our pig will open up at the top and his back we can put our finger kind of in there and open them up and then we're going to reverse this fold that we just did so it's inside like that so i can unfold it and show our art friends again so we folded it up right like that and we open it up and put our finger in there and open up his back and then reverse that fold into the middle yeah just like that and then push it in and then fold it yeah you can kind of reverse it a little bit more there you go and flatten it down good all right checkers kate it's still pointy so let's round it off a little bit more so we're going to open it up so we should see that little square there and we're going to take this point and we're going to fold it to the middle okay so i'm going to fold this point and this is going to flatten it out more so there we go like that and then we're going to fold this point also to the middle and that corner like that that cool okay then when we close it up it's even it's less pointy look at that it's nice and round looks like a pig's butt okay and then we got his tail left so we need a little teeny tail sticking out and so we got this little point inside here and we're just going to reverse it out let's see it's a little tricky and just reverse it out just like that so those little tails just pointing out and you can squish it down once you kind of get in place just squish it with your thumb so hold that yeah pull it out a little there you go and then squish it down good you got it that works okay good job that looks perfect it's a little different than mine but that's all right right yeah yeah okay now what are we missing his face doesn't look like a pig right he's got a big point on the front of his face so let's turn this into a nose okay okay so we're gonna take this point and we're gonna fold it up like this and we want it this is gonna be a guide fold also so see how i'm um how this point is sticking up almost looks like a horn right okay now once we get that fold in there this is the guide fold so we're going to open it back up we're going to do the same thing that we did on his back put our finger in this kind of spread out his head and then we're going to reverse that fold that we just did so it's inside his face looks like a rhinoceros huh that's pretty cool we could do it with gray paper and it would look like a rhino yeah okay but let's make it into a pig all right so let's bring let's bring this back out we're going to do one more guide fold so we're going to open it back up okay and we're going to take this corner and we're going to fold this corner to where let me use a pencil so i can point better okay so you see this line the guideline that we have we've got the point we're going to fold this point right to that point right there okay so here we go fold it just like that and this is going to be a guide fold also there we go all right so here we go let's fold his nose back in so we've got it like that right and then reverse that other one that we just did back into his nose look at that it flattened it out and it looks like a pig's nose huh isn't that cool yeah it's a little bit of a trick all right dude we should put some details on him huh okay all right let's put it let's put his eyes on there and then we could also put uh let's put his gears on there too we put little ears on there i'm just going to put a little v right here like that here and i'm going to flip him over now try and put his eye in the same spot but on the other side like that and then i'm also going to try and draw that ear the same draw a little upside down v and it's got a curve too good job checkers man give me five it was that a lot of fun yeah i know i had a lot of fun he turned out really cool he looks like an awesome little pig huh i wish he stood up but he doesn't you kind of just have to hold him up like that oh wait look at that he's standing oh my goodness we hope you guys had a lot of fun folding your little pigs with us and we'll see you later our friends goodbye oh you killed my pig you
