Hello! Now I'm sitting here with a Mirror! And I have thought that I would do a quick fix on this As you may have noticed now, I'm a big fan Quick-fix. Glass and mirrors and such, I think it's easier not to put lots of masking tape on chalk paint is actually very easy to just scrape off those surfaces when the paint is dry so there is no need for masking tape, I will show you. To this I have chosen to use Autentico chalk paint color Ivory it's a creamy-white I mix it around a bit ... Now I have mixed thoroughly. white wax and black wax And that is why I have these I'll put this wax here ... There you go ... White wax ... There! Now I have my waxes on there... Now I actually pour out white (pretty much) paint here. This area I want to be much brighter. I think I'm going to grind out some frictions and such, so I paint all this white first. There. I decided actually to paint the whole mirror I thought it was as good so I do not get any brushstrokes and such and I get paint everywhere it does not matter that's the way it is in a workshop! Now then - to the quick fix! I dip the brush in white paint and then I want it pretty dark so I pull around the brush in the black wax And at first I take this dark mix just around the edges (Dry Brushing with Ivory) Now I want some patina on this area So I'll just go on grinding! I have worked this piece a lot now so ... I will allow this to dry until tomorrow! Then I will apply some more black wax along this ornate frame! So we'll see how this ends!
