hi in this video we're going to take a close look at the commissioning process for the triton safeguard and the triton t150z thermostatic shower unlike other showers on the market the whole process is quick and easy to do in fact it's over in just a few minutes whichever shower you're commissioning you'll be in safe hands triton's safeguard unit brings total peace of mind to the bathroom of the visually impaired physically disabled and the elderly its factory set temperature stop guarantees it leaves triton approved to the biab caremark and as well as meeting the exacting requirements of the biab care mark it's also endorsed by the rnib the t150z on the other hand brings peace of mind to all the family thermostatically controlled it too has been awarded the b app care mark ready to see how easy it is to commission a triton let's put it to the test with the water supply turned on make sure that the ribbon cable is not plugged into the pcb and that removable side plate is in place this side plate allows ease of access to the inlet fitting when installing temporarily fit the cover to the unit guide the cover into position so the temperature control spindle locates correctly secure the cover in place with the three retaining screws making sure the supplied sealing washer is in place fit the flexible hose to the shower do not fit the shower head at this stage switch on the electricity supply to the shower at the double pole isolating switch wait until water starts to flow from the flexible hose it takes about 30 seconds for a smooth flow of water to be obtained once the flushing out has been completed switch off the electricity applied to the shower to stop the flow of water all that's left to do with the safeguard is remove the cover and connect the ribbon cable to the unit line up the temperature level with the temperature valve and refit the cover with three screws that's it commissioning done in less than two minutes and remember unlike other showers there's no need to set the temperature for the safeguard because it's already factory set to comply with the be ab care mark that means you can fit and forget knowing that your installation is biab approved also as a safeguard maximum temperature stop can't be tampered with externally there's no danger of anyone being able to change it without permission of course if you want to change the temperature stop that's easy to do as well just remove the locking screw from the mechanism and rotate it to the preferred setting point to align with the screw fixing point insert the locking screw through the temperature setting label and lock into place well you don't need me to tell you what time equals and as you can see safeguard will save you plenty of that if you'd like more information on the triton safeguard and the t150z simply visit triton showers dot co dot uk you
