hey whitney here um if you're watching this it's probably because you just searched for how to paint over a textured wall um we did this about a year ago and if you can kind of see this is a wall in our dining room and our dining room and living room walls which is like one big open room basically it's all the same like super textured um we painted one wall which is pretty small with just the rollers and the brush and it took a gallon of paint plus like another half a gallon to just paint that one wall and i'm gonna show you here um it's really not that big of a wall let's see here there we go okay so you can see from that corner to that corner and of course down that took a whole gallon of paint plus like another half at least and that yeah that's when we decided to get a spray painting gun um and we were lucky enough to be able to borrow one from a family member but uh if you have to buy one you know check out lowe's or bernard's home depot um also check out the link below because you can get a lot of cash back at some of those stores too and that'll save you a bunch of money even on your paint too so um but yeah like definitely um worth using the spray painting gun even though you're gonna have to do some taping off of doorways and ceiling and floor just to make sure that you don't splatter all over everything it's definitely was worth the time and i'm really glad that that's what we did because there's no way that we would have painted this entire room in the weekend yeah you can see this whole that's our living room and then we're going to circle around this is the dining room we wanted to do this entire area in a weekend and it would not have happened if we would have just stuck with the rollers and the paint brushes so um yeah paint spraying gun all the way so i hope this helps you and good luck with your project
