Please explain how to freeze hamburger meat

today we're going to show you a quick and easy way to freeze hamburger what we do we go to Costco or go to any bulk stores and sneer you we we buy a bunch of ink at one time this is six pounds of meat I freeze it in a certain way where it only takes maybe thirty minutes for it to thaw out or less this is what you're gonna need you're gonna need a food saver we'll leave a link on Amazon to either one like this or similar to it you need a scale this is a digital scale we have a block chopping log to put our meat on I have a rolling pin but you can have you can use anything that you can roll the meat out flat with to go with the food saver we have their food saver bags this is their quart bags this is the perfect size for the pound that we freeze here's the sixth bag that we're going to use and of course you need your hamburger meat first we need to get this scale out put it on pounds I have my special helper here Sarah and she's going to help me push the button right there yes yes we're gonna have to weigh the meat first that is nine ounces and that is a little over pound so let's try and get that ounce off and it's okay if it's not exact so now we're gonna put it in the bag so we put the 1 pound in our bag and the really good thing about this Costco meat when it comes in the little patties that each patty is approximately a half a pound so you only need two of them so that's really convenient with the Costco so now we're gonna take our rolling pin and I'm gonna I stuffed the patties all the way down to the very bottom that it closes I could and then we're going to try and spread it out towards the opening but we're gonna leave space okay so flatten them out as best we can and sometimes it's better to flatten them out like this going side to side and it's about maybe an inch thick maybe less than the inch thick and I I tried to leave maybe four inches maybe three inches space head space now this is where we are going to use the food Sabre put it in my food saver stuff it down in this little trench they have here very carefully close it lock it now it says normal dry but we're gonna do moist and then Sarah you can push vacuum and see okay now it's sealing the little red light means it's sealing and when the lights are off that means it's done yep and now they're sealed and all the air is out it is your plan now we will put our date and the weight of the hamburger we have on there and put it in the freezer and it will keep for I would probably say maybe six months I wouldn't keep it over six months but it never lasts that long in our freezer anyway and it only takes a couple minutes maybe 20 minutes for it to thaw out in cold water when it's time to use it so this is really convenient to use so now we're done and we're gonna put them in the freezer as you can see they stack really good and they freeze really well nice and even when we put them in the freezer so now that we're done it's a quick and easy freezing process for us and also the thawing process for us it's a lot faster when it's thawing out thinly like this got a big old clothes that takes a long time and but I hope you guys like this video and stay tuned for more give us a thumbs up and bye and bye
