hi uh we wanted to make a video about removing mildew from the fabrics on your stroller uh we're located in norway and it is very wet here and people often leave their strollers outside and mildew mold begins to grow on the stroller some types of this can be dangerous and in any case it's not nice to have a lot of small black spots all over your stroller the product that we like to use to remove this mildew in norwegian is called george logs fairness for both so it's a mildew remover that is commonly made to use for cleaning the canvas covers that people have on their boats this stuff is pretty strong you need to follow the instructions on the back for diluting it in water it can very often discolor fabrics if not used correctly and after diluting it following the instructions it's important to find a small spot somewhere hidden on the fabrics where you can test the product to make sure that it's not going to discolor your fabrics i will show you right now what i mean by this it's most likely the bleach inside that does this although it's not just bleach there are other chemicals that work as well so i'm going to just leave a bit on this fabric and i will show you afterwards now this stroller has patches of this mildew all over and we're going to take a little bit of this and just wipe over these black spots uh in some cases you might be dealing with um the canopy of a stroller such as emolunga or simo and it's thicker because it has some kind of padding inside in which case it's important to go over the area many times it might even be necessary to dilute the um your schlock's fairner the mildew remover more in a large basin so that you can soak and remove any mildew that might be inside however do this at your own risk for discoloration now it's been a couple of minutes and you can see that the this patch here is free of mildew it's important to follow the time instructions on the bottle as well the product we use uh works from between 5 to 15 minutes on average but as soon as the mildew has been removed you want to thoroughly wash the area where you have applied it because the bleach elements in the product can still be active and then when you're all done removing mildew you want to put the fabrics somewhere where they can air out for at least 24 hours before putting your child into the stroller you can also see the small piece of black fabric that was not made to be used with this product has been bleached orange so this is a great product it's necessary to remove this mildew it can be dangerous to your child and just be sure to follow the instructions and test a little bit ahead of time and should work fine for you thank you
