you I'm dating from juggle mum and I'm going to show you how I'm using the balloon time helium tanks like this you can get these from your local supermarket and they come with some helium balloons inside you get a variety of colors and shapes here and my doctor wants me to fill her a purple one which we will do but and the reason for the celebration is it's my husband's birthday is turning the big four oh so we're going to do with some helium balloons for him this is what I made earlier just to prove that it works okay now I'm going to show you how to fill the helium balloon and I've got to to fill this one is a special one you don't get this in the kit this is one that I bought individually sort of flat and I will fill that after I'm going to show you on the purple one first because it's actually easier to see and you can't really see where the hole is very well on this one because it's a silver balloon whereas on the purple balloon you can see a silver dot here and that is where I'm going to fill it so that is how and it's a lot easier to see what to do now you take your helium canister and it's got a lever here I'll put the top and it's got this nozzle now to open up and let the helium flow you just turn it counterclockwise about four times I've already got this one open and remember the little spot I showed you earlier work this onto the nozzle see if I can do it so that you can see from the camera if I that's it you get the tip of the nozzle in and then just figure lick side by side and just work it in it's like trying to get my son's leggings with jeans on the morning work it in until the balloon is attached and then to fill the balloon with helium you're just going to press this spout down and it'll release automatically so here you go okay there we go I'm always a bit worried about these things getting too full and x-5 yeah but but that looks pretty nice and full to me okay so I'm going to put my tent down it's safe for short periods to leave it without turning the knob the other way and but when you've finished all the balloon filling for the day then you should for storage you should turn it back so that the valve is sealed so this is my balloon the trick is to be organized in advance I've already cut my piece of string so I'm just going to pop the balloon between my legs and tie a bow with the string hang on I set and the reason why it's important to do the bow as soon as you filled the balloon and rather than filling all the balloons afterwards is because once they're floated up to the ceiling they're a lot harder to get back down so um if you get the strings on you can let them float up and you've a way of recovering them okay so there we go that's one purple balloon which I'm going to give this one to my daughter actually so I'll let that one fly high and finally that was a long string okay put that one over there and I'm going to show you finally the fancy balloon for the husband's birthday and again you have to find the hull can you sit this one's a lot more difficult to see but if I put my finger in there that's where the hole is on the spout so let's get this filled up now you should be careful I've never actually punctured a balloon doing this I always try and be as careful as I can but they are pretty tough my kids are behind the camera sniggering because of the sounds that this thing did that sound a bit rude when I first put that on okay Oh shocked me a little bit maybe that means it's reading okay so that one is my happy birthday balloon and where's my string this time I didn't get myself organized in advance I haven't cut my string yet but I've got it here okay so there we go one helium balloon easy as that and the same way I do with birthday cards I always have a stock of birthday cards at home because and when I've got birthdays coming up you don't always have the chance to knit to the shops and buy a card so I always have a stock of them at home and I also keep stock of the helium balloons at home for kind of all occasions really mostly happy birthday and thinking of you and but I think I've got to get well soon one and just in case you never know and so that's how easy it is really easy to use like I said you can buy these helium taps at the supermarket and they're simple
