okay today I'm going to demonstrate our Venetian stone texture on this sample board here I've got 3/4 inch fiber tape down simulating an ashlar slate pattern random squares and rectangles typically I use half inch fiber tape for my tile pattern and the ashlar slate but today I you know you grab what you can grab and that's what I had on hand so that's what I'm using a little bit bigger grout lines but it's going to look okay first thing I'll do is when I'm doing this slate texture let's pour some out on the surface I don't have any integral color in this so you can pull it tight we will actually get about 175 square footage a bad deal next metric I typically like to mix up 7 quarts of mix resin per bag of texture you'll see that the texture that I do here is basically a short little random strokes random directions get my coverage then it's just basically the short strokes fit there the board is a take a poll on material probably a little bit fix I'd like to do is hold the material slightly have the trial grab it kind of pull it to the side it makes a nice effect one stain hits it I'm kind of pulling us a little bit early but okay I've got some color fusion stain and a homemade version of it I think I'm yeah I've got 25% espresso 50% sand dune and I did add 25% snow white so what I'm trying to do is just tone down the espresso a little bit that's extremely dark I'm going to spray it to just slight cuddling I'll pump up sprayer here so even though I've got lots of sand dune and I've got some white in there just to tone it down majority of what you're seeing is a brown color the espresso color fusion again half evany half slate it's color I like to do for a little bit of antiquing it's always wise to probably spray that on wet on wet still a bit damp but it's best to have to to pump up sprayers going at the same time to accomplish that and just kinda messed it up the wet a little bit of a antique you look
