going on guys it's Greg from East Coast dies and let me show you how to die a head a salad color in this instance we'll be using Carolina blue as a solid color and so I'll just do a quick run-through we've got a white nas X you want to make sure it's nice and cleaned up take a brillo pad or sponge or something like that and wipe it down and scrub it off with hot water let it dry and get out of scuff marks and everything off of it so once you got your Whitehead you are ready to start and you'll need to uh get to boil in some more alright guys so now I'm boiling up some water I use these electric I guess so like tea kettles they boil a good bit of water pretty fast and just plug them into an outlet you'll have to fire a stove or anything so you want to boil enough of these for the container that you have to submerge the head completely so just any pies that container work I'll show you mine in a little bit alright guys here you can see I've got my my plastic container with my boiled water in it I used about three of those electric things that should be enough to submerge the head so I'm going to put some royal blue dye in here now here I've got royal blue dinette 'el spoon to mix it up with so I'll put the packet royal blue dye in and start dyeing it hi guys so I mixed my diet and I tossed my head in and just going to check the color and it looks pretty Carolina blue the NAS is taped to the color a little differently but you just want to keep it in and so the head is the desired color you want then you're going to pop it out and rinse it off from water make sure it looks alright and then you'll be all done I guess so I've got my dyed Carolina blue head here so one little tip after it's done dying you can take it and put it in the freezer for just like two or three minutes after you've rinsed it all off in cold water and now just help the head stiffen up a little bit and sink the dye in beware these knives heads don't die quite evenly because of the material that they're filled with but still did work pretty well and it looks pretty nice in Carolina so anyway guys hope this tutorial helped thanks for watching me so subscribe for more tutorials and for this video like if you liked it have a good day
