in this video I'll show you how to make a custom hd6 using the game crafter I am making a custom d6 with one face that is custom but to do that I need to make the images for all sides first we need the templates so we're going to go to the make games menu and go to products then we're going to go to dice custom acrylic d6 and download the PNG template next we'll make our images to do that we're going to open a graphics editing program here I'm using we're going to open the template as a new file zoom in and load the images first I'll open up my sides here I have 1 through 5 this is for all sides of my die except for the custom die face and I'm going to make when loading your images please remember that only areas of pure black will be etched all other colors will cause issues including shades of grey here all my images have the area to be engraved in pure black with no other colors now let's open some images for the 6th side here this image while it is in pure black the fine lines here will not be etched properly and they're actually shades of grey so this image would not edge well this image will etch better however is still blurry and has some shades of grey to fix that I'm going to use the sharpen tool and make sure it's set to sharpen now I'll use this on this image until it becomes sharper and is less grey lines in it and only shows the pure black now export all these images is p.m. geez file export as PNG export and you'll do that for all these images after you're done making all of your images you will need to load them into a game in order to get it made to do that we're going to go to the make games menu and go to my games well then create a new game rename it by going into edit details go back to our game go into dice hit the edit button go into the custom acrylic D six of this hit the edit button again and then add a placeholder here you'll choose the color that you'd like your die to be if you want a white die with black images a black die with white images a blue dive with white images or a red die with white images I want this one to be a black tie with white images then you'll load your sides this should result in side one being opposite side six side to being opposite sides four and side three being opposite side five that being said the game crafter cannot guarantee the image rolls will be in that orientation I'm going to load my side one I know that it'll be opposite side six so I'll go ahead and load my side six then I know that side to opposite side four inside three is opposite side five now I need to proof these images to do that I'm going to hit the I button make sure that your image is within the blue dotted safe zone and does not exceed past it if your image is correct hit the approve button it will then take you on to the next image if you want multiple of this dye in your game you'll change the quantity here to order your game or your custom dies you'll go back to the main game hit the Add to Cart button and go into your cart proceed to checkout either add an address here or select an address from the drop down menu and continue to payment you can choose to have urgent production and change the shipping method here you'll also see an estimated date that your game should ship and you add a credit card or pay by paypal and that is how you create a custom hd6 using the game crafter
