Please explain how to dehydrate plums & prunes

hi I'm warty from goon Ellen's last week I showed you how I freeze prunes and plums to enjoy them in the offseason today I'm going to show you how I D hydrate prunes and plums so we can also enjoy them in the offseason here at my washed prunes or plums take the stem off use a sharp paring knife to cut it in half around the pit open it up pop the pit out and then lay these halves on your dehydrator tray space them so they're not touching so the air can circulate well and they'll dry well you also have the option of cutting these into wedges or slices it's really up to you I like to do it the simplest way with the least amount of work so that's why I do have when your trays are full they can go in the dehydrator I like to dehydrate my raw foods at 115 degrees Fahrenheit or less but if you're using an X caliber dehydrator you can actually do the first two hours at 145 degrees Fahrenheit the reason being it kick-starts the drying so it's more efficient and potentially shorter and it also prevents the drying time being long and the food potentially molding and during those first two hours you don't have to worry about the food exceeding the temperature of a raw food the two hours just basically kick-starts it for an efficient good dehydration there's a lot of information about that in the excalibur owners manual so refer to that if you want more information and while these are drying you basically just want to keep an eye on them turn down the temperature after 2 hours if you started out at 145 and then just be ready every few hours to check and turn them over so that you get good efficient drying you
