hi I'm Keith McCoy with solutions self-cam in this video we're going to discuss some facts and tips on tourist SC cars SC is produced by control solutions it contains fipronil and is a suspended concentrate this product is used primarily for termites and it also controls other perimeter pest as well your application rate is 0.8 ounces per gallon of water and for finish gallons per 10 linear feet of trench this product is available in a twenty ounce container and a seventy eight ounce container take it let me show you a few tips on how to apply the product hey we're over doing the termite job we're digging the trench six inches wide six inches deep we're going to go all the way around the perimeter of the house we're going to use a product called Taurus SC as I said we're going to mix this product point eight ounces per gallon of water then we're going to pour this product into the trench all right we put a gallon of water in our bucket we're going to makes point eight ounces again into our tank then we're going to add the other gallon now we have our mixture prepared we're going to take the two finished gallons of product and we're going to pour that into five linear feet of trench after we do that we're going to backfill forever five feet I'm building the mud dam to hold the material into that section so that it doesn't run throughout the entire trench so we got pore fluid in our trench now that we've got our fluid in the trench we're going to go ahead and backfill this way the product will settle in right where we've put it now we can move on to the next section well we've finished our job with Taurus SC termiticide insecticide remember we use point 8 ounces per gallon of water and applied it at two finished gallons per five linear feet keep in mind a couple of different things one river 5 feet remember we created that dam to hold product into that 5 foot trench also remember to backfill that way all that soil gets treated right there at that one spot hey I'm Keith McCoy with solution self Kim asked us how than do it yourself
