what's up guys will from rip2ken here and this video is on uh keeping your beta dragons hydrated uh you have to do this tv dragons um because it's a necessity it's just uh it's how they survive pretty much so the first method is bathing a beard dragons in shallow water some may not like it like he doesn't really like it but she loves it and you want to do this to your adults about once a week or twice a week i only do it to these guys once a week or maybe even less because they have a outdoor bath so they just bath themselves whenever they want to and it rains sometimes so yeah um what you want to do is just want to keep them in shallow water and always supervise because they can drown in very shallow water if there's two of them because one of them could step on the head and yeah just trap them of getting air and yeah that's pretty much it but bathing's pretty easy you probably know how to do it so i'll get these guys out and then i'll show you the next method okay so the next thing is misting which you probably already know about but if not uh misting is when you get a spray bottle like so it's an ordinary spray bottle with water in it and you spray the whole body in water and they'll actually and they'll actually absorb it through their skin it's actually pretty cool to see because once one of them was like standing up on its back legs on that rock and you could actually see it getting absorbed into their belly it looks pretty weird but it's cool so that's what you want to do you just want to get your spray bottle and you want to spray their whole body in water i've already sprayed these guys today so it's not bad if you do it again so just like that you just want to spray the whole body so make sure you get that one back there and uh sometimes they will lick but they're not doing it because they've already done it today yeah but they'd normally just lick um the water off them like either lick it off the rock or they lick it off the wood or they just lick it when it comes off their nose and what you can do is if they do start licking the air you can just spray their nose that one doesn't like it but this one does you can just spray their nose like that and they'll start licking the water uh yeah it's pretty cool to see and yeah they some of them don't like it but some of them do so if they don't like if they really don't like getting bars then you just do this because most of them like it and i'll just show you doing these guys let's get a bunch of them actually up there on that rock because some of them have already been sprayed today some haven't so oh doodle okay so to show you is that you undo spray the whole body not too hard just fine mist and as you can see this one here he's licking like that all you can do is you just want to keep spraying them until they stop licking or something like that um but yeah they just lick to get the water off their nose that's pretty cool yeah so that's the second method pretty simple um and then the last method is salad you'd want to give your dragon salad every day anyway but what you can do is you can spray your salad just so if they eat some salad they also get in water like if the salads dried out or something like that um and some people float their salad in water uh i don't do this because it they don't really eat it when it floats in water so i just spray it and yeah that's just every day you want to give himself you can miss them every day if you want but you don't have to you can miss them every second or every third day um yeah that's misting is not um a thing you want to do once a week you want to do it pretty often so yeah that's pretty much it for this video um make sure to leave comments if you have any questions or if you have another method that you use and yeah so thanks for watching guys will from rapture count here signing out
