Please explain how to choose a scentsy scent that will last

hey guys it is Kimberly from wickless Kimberly calm your independent city consultant and it is already Tuesday I have no idea where the week went but that means that we get another chance to share a tip Tuesday with ya and so today's tip Tuesday is answering a question that I get all the time and I've never been able to answer it however now that I've gone - since you family reunion we actually had a whole topic on it and now I know how things are the question and that question is hey I have two bars one only lasts a couple of hours and the other one lasts a few days why is that so this video should help you understand that one and then also help you pick sense that lasts a little bit longer get more bang for your buck right so I do have some note so that way I don't tell you the wrong thing so if you know anything about perfume or since you know that there is a pyramid and at the top of the pyramid you have your top notes so top notes are normally citrus scents so like orange or lemon or lime or pomelo tangerine things like that then that you have your mid notes and your mid notes are going to be floral or fruity so like strawberry banana things like that watermelon and spicy cents and then your base notes those are gonna be the ones like woody or musky or food gourmand cents so let's say you have let's say you have a bar of skinny dipping because it's a super popular scent so skinny dipping is one it's a it's in our classics category but it's usually a spring and summer scent people usually by the majority of the time is in the spring and summer and it has a lot of those citrus scents now whatever is in the top section of that pyramid so the citrus scents those are what's gonna be warmed off first so if you have any bar that has citrus in it that's most likely what you're gonna smell first and it's gonna warm off and it's gonna go then if that bar has any flower since in it or any peppery since you're gonna get that note next and then the last thing you're gonna get is any type of I don't know if it has caramel in it or vanilla that's gonna be a wet lasts the longest so you might get citrus and then you might get a little bit spicier floral and then you might get a little bit of vanilla now that's why sometimes your the actual part of this given that you love does it last as long because there's a smell all the way through now let's say you get a Central Park pralines or baked apple pie now something that has food as the main scent that is gonna last a long time and so that is why excuse me our corner cafe since last days and any of those usually man cents last for days because they have that really woody musky sense or suede per se those cents last a really long time another reason why our following winter scents usually last longer than our spring and summers is because they have those food and wood notes so I hope that helped kind of you know realize why some of your since you bars might not last as long as others if they're food they're gonna last longer it's also another reason why we started doing diffusers so if you are diffusing oils you get a consistent fit from the tiny turn on your diffusers at a time it automatically shuts off or you decide you want it to shut off so there's no like level of notes it is one consistent scent so that is also a plus so if you like that one scent it's best to use diffuser and oils than this use wax and warmers so I hope that kind of cleared up some of the questions that kind of linger around why does this bar not smell as long as this bar now we know so always thumbs up if you have anyone that ever has ever asked you that question make sure you share it with them and always subscribe for more videos I will see you guys later bye
