as he funds our Blackie egg out today I'm going to take this through really putting mine walking up through my boss'll and funds all that I've got that it's about four years I reckon one of those it was just a straight trunk here none of these branching was on the door grown all these branches myself the whole lot in about four years so it cinders developed very quickly and already it gets a nice bloom of white flowers and I try and put a picture of somewhat of when it's in put white flowers and stuff up when I upload a video maybe add that to it yes I'm going to take you through very putting this thing and hopefully give you a bit of an idea of what's involved in a properly fought not just smashing it like that other video ideas but the property pops yeah the first thing I do is get the mice off the shape of the pot sort of makes I'm going to cut around this edge so that it releases the Hawthorn properly otherwise it's just going to smash the pipe I try and pull that out then might come out I'll just try it but yes we get them off stuff get the tree out have a look at the roots I haven't seen the roots for a year or so a couple of years so yeah we put it and just walk you through all that no worries thanks okay so first job take off some of this mask might pick it off with me fingers use a knife maybe I just want to save some of this mainly so I can put it back on later so just pull all this Moss off and get it out the way transferred a bit of moss on I'm going to have to rub that off with a toothbrush or something a bit later nice mas coming off there now this tree during the summer this last you've been a bit worried about it's been drying out really quick wilting the I find this to be the first tree in my collection to wilt and on a hot day I mean it's probably borderlining full-on getting too hot for it anyway being here in a hot climate in Australia like I think it starts wilting over about 35 degrees Celsius and I mean it has to put up with even up to 46 degrees I think it had to put up with one day 46 Celsius so I have done a bit of shade cloth but even that's not enough some days I'm going to set but I'm going to put a little bit of a fine mix in there and fresh soil hopefully it'll help it out still grow strongly those just starts rooting early on a hot day that's all if your roots underneath all this Moss here I want to disturb this bark too much when every pop nice barks I'm just going to be really careful not to risk that well just get a toothbrush and I'll rub some of this Moss off the trunk of it at the top of the roots you it's been quite a healthy tree this tree puts that a lot of flowers yeah it's been not too bad for me there's a beginner money a beginner so everything's fairly new to me but yeah in good fun why do bonsai Zamora one of the ones I was thinks I'm a bit crazy but she understands it better I think she accepts it anyway keeps growing okay I think step will scrub that there what area there's a bit too much moss on that we've got moths around the tree but not really grown up it's realizing that good for it was stuffs growing all over the place of it covers your back anyway nebari okay next job as you see how hard it is to look there up there that's really solid in there so I'm going to have to cut around the edge be careful not to wreck the park but what rocks in this that's going to be a bit tough and I think that's where I went wrong I put big big pieces go here and there because that's all I could find and I think it's just less way to be get air gaps which is part of the reason it has drawn out I think so much in some of the fear it's above the guys okay but I had to put a lot of effort into keeping the water it up further than mixing out automated a bit happier if it's anything wrong as you can see I put its Toria they're good they're just a bit too coarse I think I'll stick around the edge of the whole plan around the pot I mean why try okay yeah we're down everywhere here that's trying to move the fit home so be careful grabbing a trunk has just lost a bit of our backup that from there go to be cut be careful more than I I'll just have to try not just a bit too much have to recolor in the stages speed either the league's what's in here Calcutta they're just getting in the wires applied I think it's going to come in a tree and of course this yes this is true yeah you can see my lip park up the must sit near the bit top of those rocks couldn't put cat handle BAM painting the ears kind of Phillies sandwich laughter okay so I'll clean the roots a bit towards the garden hose and pretty ugly roots really they'll quite fast it's dangling off and hanging everywhere so let's save with the pot a bit and I'm firing well it's not too bad it's quite radial there's there's sections on there that I don't really like but ah it's not too bad for there for free honey cost me 30 bucks so I'll go along and cut some of these roof back ones without really doing much off really expect that ugly ones and hang in there these big fat ones don't really feed the tree much so drop them off wine affected too badly it's just some very ugly roots in here I'm not going to chop the roots can too much because going back in the same pot and I've already chopped the nephew off when I cut it out the pot just a few crossing lines will fill them out get a few few more off the bottom here you you you it's let me leave that trail lead on I'll Water it and reflect that side and won't be too long it'll start putting that leaves and flowers I'll have to do it come bit of an update when the flowers only need to start I can show you still have a fair bit more developing of this tree to do on ramification and stalks only really in the early stages but try to make it nice as possible and flower certainly do that it doesn't know whether you need to Hawthorn or not to get proper berries but this one here I had a pork leather slice you absolutely packed the flowers and more economic free berries three red berries that's not very good don't know why like I said maybe you need another one later one of you guys we ought to tell me we get another one in flower or something maybe then I need to cross pollinate I don't know it'd be nice if I got the whole thing in berries okay so give that bit of water give them water and then I did one last view other train will give the spin for you now give the trigger get a tree a quick final spin you can really take that long to recall it and it looks quite at home there in that pot near sir you're looking forward to it flowering and developing this year and to all ramification honor this is a nice tree to meet so far yes that's a back which could almost double as a front I think it's good to have a couple of good sides to the tree both foot really as good as each other I think the roots probably a little bit better on this side I reckon nice to it show you that top of the tree easily we will develop the one way to go but I think at this stage I just sort of keep cutting it back and it should twig out fairly quickly you do got to be worried on a hawthorn that luck will so you always got to keep getting rid of any branches we have three four one one area but I'll clean up most of them on this tree so don't worry well let's respond the horse on there so be it for today thanks for watching was the ones on upload I'll catch you later cheese you
