so today I'm going to teach you how to make this bow and this is a painting on monogram bow these aren't actually my initials these are my friends and issues but I'm mr. birthday so I decided to make her bow and she doesn't know because it's obviously a gift but if you want to learn how to make this make that continue to watch the video I hope you enjoy this tutorial as much as I did making it okay for this video guys you want to make sure you have your bow pre-cut and pre-folded if you don't know how to fold your bow whatever um you want to go and check out my trim out basics video it goes through all the steps but if you want and you don't know how where to put the clips you want to go check out either my how to make it naked chair bow or how to put words on your boat and that explains where they put the clips how I figured that out and then unfold the bow I'll link those below so you can follow along anyways nothing my talk let's just get back to the tutorial okay to start off you're gonna need fabric paint it doesn't matter which color you use as long as it shows up on the fabric you chose and then ever you want to take your measuring tape and place it or how I placed it in video and then what I'm doing here is gonna take a little bit of paint and make a mark before the one a little bit before the one and then a little bit after the one and then I'm gonna take more paint and get a little bit before the two and after the two and this is the markings where I'm going to put where I'm going to start and end the letters basically so they are evenly spaced out and I wanted to use as much space as I could that's why it's so together so close together and um what I didn't do what you should do is um move the measuring tape down and do the same thing before you actually start painting the letters I started to try to do it here but I didn't do all three lines that only get the first line which I didn't I don't know why I thought that was good idea I guess cuz I was working but then when I started she do the see I realize that I should've did all three lines and it's kind of too late to go back in now because the paint is wet and I don't want to smear it everywhere so I'm just gonna eyeball it but again to avoid eyeballing it you should definitely make it three marks on each side now this brush isn't actually a paint brush it's a nail art brush but I could have found a brush that was small enough but I did figure out that this paint this nail art brush was very effective and get really cuz it's really really thin was just obviously intended for your nails but um as you can see in the video it's supposed to look like a circle because it's the monogram but it doesn't really quiet look like a circle I don't really know how to avoid this but maybe in the future I'll put this circle on the bow and trace around lightly around the circle with a pencil or something now if you wanted to know what I was looking at or where I got the monogram letter ideas from I just put in Bing monogram alphabet and then I clicked images well first I did it could I spell something wrong but anyway I scrolled down and found one of the alphabets that I liked and you can use any other that you want because you're doing it like it's your boat obviously but um you could pick any letter that you want and I'll try to link this below because I really like this one and um if you're not good at like if you would rather trace it you can obviously try to blow it up and put it on pen so and then but I don't know how to so I just love it okay so now it's been four hours later and I'm going to start the both floating process I took the clip off clips off and if you've seen any of my other boat tutorials I'm just going to measure the tails it's a four and a half inches on each side like normal and then I'm gonna take it and fold it like normal not that I should include this or your handi keep going back and forth from watching Mountain cheer about basic the video and now that can be a hassle something I forgot to mention what's to remember which side your monogrammed with long miles on the left top and it's important to remember because you don't want to put it on the wrong side and then look it's funny but now you're just want to fold the bow and put the zip tie on with the hair tie and then put the centerpiece on after you cut off the hair tie obviously I didn't record it again I'm just going to try to record it in the next about satori oh because yeah but here's your bow and I hope you like it thanks for watching this video see you next time
