right so I'm going to show you how to make an Eskimo style squirrels they're similar to maskull's hair pipe but instead of elder pipe part the Eskimos use Eva bone or antler the picture I've seen originally was boned but antler is a similar thing so I'm gonna use out for this one and also desk most used so far as I know not cord is like this but cords made from raw hide or sinews we're gonna use this kind of natural cordage so you get the idea so what I've got is a piece of antler which has been hollowed out all the way through and it's got a hole drilled just there now I'm doing this as the picture what I've seen is but that isn't actually necessary but the picture of sin that is there so that's how I'm going to do it so what you want to do is you want to pass some cordage down through the middle I will explain why why people think why I think the Eskimos and Maskull did a pipe here and I think personally it's because stop an animal chew it out because if they only had kind of you know we kind of cordage and that would be not you know it's easy for an animal to chew out of it if they can get to it but once it's wrapped around their neck and the only part they can chew on is this it's a lot harder than a lot harder for them to chew out so always think maskull's an air pipe in this one this is to stop them chewing out of it because their cordage was made out of like not natural cord or things like you know sinews and maybe horsehair and stuff like that so I've got one coming through there the of one passes through and comes out the back once I'm doing this like the picture you don't have to do that whole you could have just just coming through this end as well and we're just gonna tie this end off here you can see how it work now now essentially that could be it done as it is some reason on the picture there was a block of wood tied here but from the picture what I've sinned that this part now makes no sense the only time it makes sense having that block there is if this one get this all in views you see if this one which is tied here if this passed all the way through then you'd want wrists one to stop it coming back but the picture which I've seen night nonsense sure but there's hole there and this end is tied here so what this bit is for don't actually know because it's gonna work as a noose without it regardless unless it's just to keep it from coming out any further I've no idea because it's actually you know it's not needed but that is essentially a eskimo squirrel snare from the picture of Zim I think this idea with the antler or bone or wood um pipe part it's a good idea if you've only got natural cordage or weak cordage it'd be a good idea to do this with paracord if she was gonna use that as well stop you animal chewing out so there's my reproduction of the eskimo squirrel snare beautiful watching not see liar you
