you welcome to pine note this is Lisa and this is the first video for your crocheted rag rug in front of me I have several balls of old t-shirts that have been cut apart to make our yarn for our rag rug now these t-shirts were old some were stained some I could not resell on eBay so that's how they were chosen for this I would not use anything that someone else could wear you're also going to need some crochet hooks and they don't have to be bamboo it's just what I happen to have if you're comfortable this is a size R or if ap size is all you have that's fine as well you're going to need several large safety pins and you're going to need a tapestry needle these are the ones with a very dull point so in the meantime if you visit my website pine notes com I'll start posting how to make your yarn out of an old t-shirt so join us thanks and make it a great day
