Please explain how to make beast teeth · diy fake denture sfx · orc troll wolf fangs tutorial

As I promised in my previous video here you have the tutorial to learn how to make this denture that you are seeing right now. For this, a copy of your denture will be needed for example, made of plaster. If you can get one at your local dental clinic good enough And if not, I inform you that you can find a tutorial on my channel to learn how to make one. So, let's get started! As you can see, I have my copy in plaster already done, and the next thing I will do is make another copy but in silicone. We do this basically because if we use the plaster copy to make the final denture the plastic will stick very strong to the plastic. Some people, even knowing this, do it with the plaster copy, Like the attempts I've done and you're watching right now, which are horrible. So please, if it's true that they achieve that, tell me their secret. Even using nonstick stuff, I failed to detach it without breaking, so I opted to make the positive with silicone If the professionals do it this way, they'll have their reason. Apply hot glue on the plaster base and put it on a paper. Apply layers of release agent. As container I will use a plastic cup. Cut the top with a scissors, and seal it well with hot glue. Now, to make the mold, I will use this silicone that comes in two bottles and are mixed in equal parts. In a plastic cup pour the amount of Part A. Pour it the higher you can, so we will break the air bubbles easily. And pour the Part B in another plastic cup. Mix the two parts in the same cup and stir well. It must be the same color. We start pouring the mixture letting the silicone drop on a corner it will break more air bubbles while the denture is slowly covered Let it stand the time specified on the instructions of our mold. After that time we will give it a few taps with the fingers and if it is ready, we can remove the container. Cut the excess of the edges. Apply release agent, and use again another plastic cup as a container. This time I place it just above the mold, and make sure that the edges are well pressed. Now, pour the mixture and let stand. As you see, although we have used mold release there are still some areas that are hard to unstuck just be careful and that will come out easily. And as you see, we have done our silicone positive. Now put it away and finally we can start modeling the denture. To do this I will use a sulfur-free clay, because we will make another silicone mold later and we don't want any problems I'm using the "Monster Clay", which is very nice To work with this clay, we will have to heat it enough. To do this, for example, you can put it in the microwave for about 1 minute, or using a heat gun like I'm doing. Stop when it starts to melt. Be careful touching it, that can burn! We will prepare the teeth giving them a layer of Vaseline. Basically we do this because later, when we've finished we can remove the clay easier You can do it the way it seems easier to you but I'll start creating the teeth one by one. My advice is to do first a basic structure, and later we will do the details. If you have a copy of the top of your teeth we can put it slightly above the modeling to see if they are fitting well, if not, correct the imperfections. And continue modeling. As you can see, the clay becomes very squishy with the warmth of our fingers, which allow us to unify the clay, smooth the surface, etc. We can use trimming tools to remove the clay, and get the shape we want more easily. As you see, I'm removing a lot of clay from the gum area but honestly I recommend you not doing it because when we will do the final copy we can get a very thin and weak layer, for being so close to the original denture. Also cover the back, of course. Make sure to cover all well, ie, we can't see any white patch of the plaster. Once we have the structure we can start to detail. To smooth the surface we can use Isopropyl Alcohol, with a wealth of 99.9% as you are seeing. This isn't as the ethyl alcohol which is on everyone's house, so you'll have to buy it at a pharmacy. gently smooth it with a brush, don't be careless and make a lot of layers, the alcohol can eat the clay. Alcohol leaves a very dry surface so don't panic if you see a whitish color appearing. A little trick to give texture to the surface without damaging it too much It is to place a layer of plastic wrap on the clay, and start creating the texture. As you see, we leave marks without dragging the clay and spoil the surface. When we finish modeling, we can leave it resting in the fridge, because although this clay doesn't harden completely, it is firmer when gets cold. So the fridge is the perfect place to keep it while we are doing other things and prevent it to get melted by mistake We will prepare the mold. We take a sheet of cardboard or heavy paper, we cut to a height that exceeds the level of the modeling we just did. Make a cylinder and seal it with adhesive tape. We go back to take our modeling. Clean it well and give it a layer of release agent. Apply hot glue to the base and paste it on a surface which can be extracted. Now place the cylinder over and we are going to seal the bottom, very well sealed, with hot glue. Do the same silicone mixture. Pour it exactly the same way as before, drop everything to a point and let it spread. Wait the necessary time and open it when it's ready. As you can see, in my case it covered up the bottom of the base, so I will remove the excess with scissors and a x-acto knife. Extract it and now we can see how the clay is almost intact, the fangs have bent a little bit but it is almost the same, and the mold is fairly clean. This part is a bit sad, but shit happens As we won't use it anymore, we can start removing it and get the plaster clean with water. If there is a difficult corner where it is trapped clay, use a hard brush and apply it with water until it is removed. If any remainder is left in the mold, do the same using a swab, soaked it with water and remove. If water is not enough you can also use alcohol. This is a reusable clay, so we can save the used pieces again. Give them heat and unify with the rest of the container. For this we can use the heat gun or the microwave, but I had the lighter very closer, so I did it that way To make the plastic copy of the modeling that we have done, I will use these products. I explain what they are: On the left, we have the Monomer, or also known as Acrylic Liquid. And on the left, we have the Acrylic Powders. These products are sold in dental stores, but also we can be found them in nail art stores. Ie, they are also used to make artificial nails. Obviously not the same quality as that used by dentists, but it is much cheaper and easier to find. And are used exactly the same way, acrylic liquid is mixed with powder and with his reaction we will get the plastic. As you see, I bought these white powders, and besides, these others in pink for the gums. If you want to know where I bought them, as always you can check out the link on the description box and go to my website, I will leave a list with everything I used in this video. The acrylic liquid is a highly toxic product, so gloves must be used to prevent any skin irritation, and a mask to prevent inhaling all this stuff, because it smells like shit. And if you are as paranoid as me, you can use a more professional mask like this, I basically used it because I was making enough attempts. I even used my protection glasses, because my eyes get irritated very easily and sincerely I didn't want my eyes get worse than they are. And please, in a well-ventilated place seriously, open the windows otherwise, do it on the outside. Protection above all, kids. Now we take our fangs mold, and start pouring the acrylic powders on a container, add the acrylic liquid and mix it. It must get fluid to get into the mold, so add more acrylic liquid if it is necessary. On this step you have to be very fast because it starts to harden quickly. We will ensure it reaches well all corners, for this we can press the mold, or stir the mixture with a toothpick into the gap. And now, put the silicone positive that we have done before. As we have done all using the same dentures it will fit perfectly. We take the remains of the mixture to see if it has hardened, and if so we can extract it. As you see they have gone quite thin areas, that is why I said at the beginning of the video, when we were doing the modeling it was much more convenient to make a thick layer of clay. Anyway, all this can be arranged, so no problem. Remove the excess. We will remove the entire area of the gums and just leave the teeth. If you have a Dremel or similar you can make this task more easily. As you can see, in my case there are enough holes, so we are going to use the same products as before to fix it. And this is very simple: In a container, for example, the bottle lid, pour a few drops of acrylic liquid. We'll use a small brush with a small fine tip, soaked with the liquid, sink it into the powders. The liquid will easily absorb them so they will stay glued to the brush. And now, just fix the holes that may need it. We can place the teeth on the positive silicone and continue fixing mistakes. If the powders are dense, you can soften them by applying more liquid. When we are done, we fit the teeth into the mold again. And now we will make the gums part. To do this we will do the same as before, but using the pink powders. As you can see, everything is unified with the teeth with the drawback that keeps coming again a very thin and weak layer, but hey, that was my fault and you will not get the same result as me Again, remove the excess. To fix this very thin layer, we will do the same method as before, dip the brush in liquid, take a powder layer, and start covering the areas you want. As you see, as we apply layers, we can shape it the way we want With the Dremel I will start to refine details. Be sure to soften enough the bottom to be more comfortable while working with it And as you can see, I modified almost entirely the teeth. I'm very obsessed with these things... Now I start with the final sanding. You can perfectly use a nail file. Next step, thoroughly clean the teeth. I'm using soap and a toothbrush I use only for this. Rinse and dry. Now we will check that everything is right so we put our teeth on and make sure that everything fits perfectly and there's no sharpening that may hurt us In my case all went well except for the teeth colour. As you can see it is extremely white. So I'm going to give it some layers of paint. For this there are special paint palettes for dentures, but they are are very expensive, so I am going to use this, tooth enamel that are easily found at costume shops. They are not toxic so you can use them without problem. What I will do is add a few drops of color on a container and mix it with alcohol to make it more diluted and therefore get a softer color. I start using black to make all the shadows, so I'm going to apply it in all slits I find. Make it look so dark it is done on purpose, because now we will take a swab and alcohol, and we will remove the excess. We continue filling the gaps and removing what we don't like with alcohol. We mark the areas of the gums to make them more pronounced. Now we have the base with well defined shadows, so we will apply the yellow layer above to give it a scale or dirt effect. Make the same as before, cover all the areas with yellow and remove them with alcohol. If you give some layers in the same area, you can get a stronger color. We mark well the area near the gums to get a deeper effect. Finally, the denture gloss effect and thus get a much more realistic effect, we can use a clear nail lacquer. In my case I will use this nail hardener, which have this yellowish color that comes great. So, this is like when you paint your nails. Apply the layers you want and that's it. I know, many of you, as I did when I was researching about this topic, may have gone nuts seeing that I am using as final layer a product that can be toxic, but I assure you that after looking at a thousand sites and seen examples of professionals who are dedicated to this, we can use it without problems. Nail polish, once it is applied and dried, It will cease to be as dangerous as it is when is liquid. As an example, and to reassure you, if we think about all this stuff when we paint our nails and for any reason we take them to the mouth we are having the same contact that we would have with the teeth. Especially if we bite them and mistakenly swallow a piece of nail polish, which actually happened Not the healthiest thing in the world? Nope. But hey, I put the example to compare and see that is the same. just don't be careless don't eat and drink with the denture, which is already very difficult. I have used it and I assure you that I see no risks, but if you're still worried about this, just do not give it this final layer, and that's it. That's fine. In fact, just in case, because it also worried me Honestly I've just given the final layer to the outside of the teeth, ie, the part that will be exposed to the public view, and I didn't touch the inside, which is actually where I will place my teeth at and where it'll be more contact When everything is dry, clean it again with soap and water. And finally you have your own teeth ready to use. If it gives you problems and is very loose, especially when you talk, you can buy and apply adhesive for gums You can find it at any pharmacy. And that's all. If this has been very complicated for you, because I know at the beginning is a little overwhelming, you can see my other tutorial where I do smaller fangs, Way easier without having to make molds and other things that we have to do here. Finally, if you try this tutorial and do your own denture, or any other project that you have seen here on my channel, don't hestitate, please share your own creations using the hashtag #keevanski on Instagram or where you want I'd love it I also think it's a good way for you to share your work with everyone. Well, "with everyone", dammit... with everyone who is on my channel, of course! And well, that's it, I hope you've digested it well because it was a quite long tutorial.
