we show you guys how to do a quick cleanup on a white wheels now a lot of you guys out there might have aftermarket wheels or OEM wheels have a white exterior coating on the wheel now this is a white work emotion wheel with an aftermarket wheel it's white on the barrel and the face and these have a powder-coated white surface now I'm going to show you guys today how to do a quick cleanup and I'm gonna also show you how to protect the wheel to make sure that your white stays bright and fresh then I clean it up today I'm gonna use our chemicalized speed wipe alright Chemical Guys speed wipe is a quick detailer spray designed to remove dirt and debris these wheels are well-maintained so it's gonna remove any brake dust off the wheel we're also gonna be able to place a coat of our Chemical Guys wheel guard on the wheel and that's gonna protect the wheel it's gonna make the surface look bright and fresh again and it's also gonna protect against brake dust and reduce it back to 75% I have few towels I'm going to use as well and some microfiber applicator pads gonna help us get the job done now the biggest problem with white wheels is they just show dirt so much these wheels have a rubber and brake dust all over the wheel and as you can see all this brake dust and dirt and debris on the wheel makes it look bad and doesn't make it shine anymore so we're gonna go ahead and clean it up now we can take this outside and use dîablø or some type of heavy wheel gel but the wheel is already pretty clean it's well-maintained so I'm gonna use a quick detailer spray and pull it off so let's use start with our speed white so I'm gonna turn on my speed wipe and I'm gonna go ahead and prime the sprayer and I'm gonna go ahead and soak the entire surface of the wheel with the speed white now you already see from the speed white that's at the bottom of the wheel the speed right it's already starting to pull off the brake dust now this has a lot of rubber because the car is really low gets a lot of rubber over the tire but I'm gonna go ahead and saturate the wheel make sure I get it clean I'm gonna try and clean as much as I can on the inside of the barrel but this is mainly concerned with the face so I'm gonna take a microfiber towel this is our black microfiber towel I'm gonna go and clean off the wheel now you see how easily the speed wipe takes off all the dirt and the rubber there's a lot of rubber on this wheel all over the wheel and we want to make sure that it looks bright and fresh again now white wheels often you polish they need to be taken care of because break dust is corrosive and you can actually cause stains on the white wheel that's why a lot of people the white wheels usually choose to use our chemicalize wheel guard because going to protect the white color it's gonna make it look fresh and vibrant and it's gonna make sure it stays looking great so I'm gonna keep cleaning the inside of this wheel and then we're gonna go ahead and apply some wheel guard to the face let's go ahead and do that so I've gone ahead and removed all the brake dust and the rubber off this wheel using our Chemical Guys vintage speed wipe in our Chemical Guys me to speed wipe did a great job of pulling off all of the brake dust and all of the rubber and now our white wheel looks bright and clean think about the white wheel is and I want to keep it looking bright and clean because brake dust and water spots and Road tar can stain the wheel and I want to make it easier to keep clean that way I always don't have to use a heavy degreaser or cleaner when I wash the wheels so I'm going to apply a coat of our chemicalized wheel guard in our Chemical Guys wheel guard is a high-gloss durable protection for wheels and rims it works on all types of wheels powder coated painted clear coat even works on metal wheels like polished stainless steel aluminum or any other type of metal wheel including carbon fiber now to apply the wheel guard I'm gonna go ahead and open it up and you'll notice it's an easy to use synthetic paste now this is synthetic paste that's designed for a high-gloss shine it works on any color wheel black white gold silver all types of wheels and it's also going to reduce brake dust by up to 75% so using a microfiber applicator pad I'm gonna go ahead and spread this on the wheel so let's up prime it and get a good amount on there there we go and I'm gonna start spraying down the wheels start on the lip now this is a complex wheel so I'm gonna spread all the way around I like to start with my lip first it's where a lot of the brake dust get stuck and I'm gonna start with all of the individual spokes now I want to make sure I coat the entire wheel so I get an each little crack and all the corners by the lettering so it's protected against brake dust now like I said before white wheels can stain very easily so if you have white wheels that are already stained you can go ahead and clean them up using some chemical wise polish and then apply some chemicalized wheel guard now what I like about wheel guard is that it's designed for high temperature operation so brakes often operate at a very high temperature so it gets really hot in this area of the car so what I wanted to do is apply the wool guard to make sure that my wheel stays protected and looking great even in high heat situation so when I'm using a lot of the brakes at the track or in autocross I'm just driving spiritedly and go ahead and keep it looking great and what's cool about this is there's a sticker right here because these are actually real work emotion wheels the higher-end Japanese wheel and this sticker right here is on the outside of the wheel and I want to make sure it's protected so the wheel guard is going to protect against brake dust as well you know now now that my will guard is applied for the wheel I'm gonna wait about 5-10 minutes let it bond to the service so I get a full six months of protection so we'll see you about five ten minutes so we've come back it's been ten minutes and our chemicalized wheel guard is now bonded to the wheel I'm gonna go ahead and remove it with one of our black edgeless elegance microfiber towels these are a angeles towel that won't scratch and they're extra premium and soft so they won't scratch our white wheel and then keep that shine so i'm gonna gently go ahead and take the microfiber towel and buff off the wheel guard and i love the way the wheel guard gives us wheel a bright bold finish really enhances the look and you want your white to look bright you don't want it to look dull you don't want it to look down you want it to shine and that's what we're gonna make these white wheels do so there's actually a really low car as you can see that the tire tucks really low up there so you're gonna get things like dirt and debris from the wheel kicking up so when you put a coat of wheel guard on your wheels you can make sure that it always stays looking good now even if you buy brand new wheels the wheel guards a great investment to apply to your wheels because gonna make sure that your investment stays looking good some wheels can cost an expensive amount of money some two three four even twenty thirty thousand are wheels so you can apply a set or a coat of wheel guard to your set of wheels and they'll stay looking great now our commotions wheel looks really good it feels really slick that's the main thing we want to notice is it feels slick so that way it's going to reduce brake dust sticking back to 75% so i'm gonna be able to easily clean
