hey guys it's even here how's everyone doing today hope you guys are all doing fantastic you guys are brand new to the channel welcome I'm so happy to have you guys let me know down in the comments below just say hi and love to talk to you all and if you guys probably already read the title of this video it's going to be a handbag we have and if you guys are interested in that segment I guess like a handbag rehabs I have a bunch of them I'll link everything up here I have a playlist with all of my back we have videos where I think stuff like my slean's other like coach bags long job so I'm super excited to show you guys this one this one is actually just a really easy one I actually found this Coach briefcase and a thirst or not too long ago like a couple weeks ago have the link right here for you guys as well and I've been looking for a bad likeness for the longest time I love vintage Coach and like a vintage Coach briefcase is like so amazing this is my first time seeing one actually no not my first time see also the first time seeing this particular silhouette which I have wanted for a while there's actually a Louie Louie Vuitton one in Tyga that I really really liked it it's like it almost looks exactly the same but I'm so excited to have found this I got this one for the low low price of $30 and this one is made in the USA which i think is amazing because the bags are made in the USA like a while ago are made of like the most luxurious like leather and like I just love the feel of it this one has aged really well there's just light scratching throughout and I'm just going to use a conditioner to I think the bag feels like a little bit dry so I think it's gonna revitalize not only the color but it might buff out some of the scratches as well though they're not very many to go on its you probably can't even really see them that well and the corners right here of the top handle they do have a little bit of rub off on the edge coating so I'm just going to use a little Angeles acrylic paint touch that up and it's gonna look brand-new so I'm super duper excited I'm not too sure I'm going to have this up I did post this on Instagram a while back and a bunch of you have expressed interest in purchasing it I have not yet decided whether or not I'm going to but maybe I don't know I just wanted to fix it up first before I really decided and yeah what if you guys are ever interested in anything that I have to sell I'll have links down below in the description box my I have a website bits and bobs accessories calm I sell a lot of my there finds on there and I'm also on Poshmark and Mike Harvey and D pop at with just search for my name it's catering just like here on YouTube and I'll have links down below as well if you guys want to check that out and I you sell a lot of my stuff on there sometimes it sounds really quickly and sometimes I'm a little late like so it's kind of you see something in the hall let me know if and I'll let you know whether or not it's still available if it's already sold or I just haven't put it up yet but with that being said let's get into this well I also wanted to address I totally forgot well they broke on the metal right here with a sharpie that's easy to get out just a little um a little rubbing alcohol or acetone whatever you have on hand and then they also wrote right here and right here in the bottom was like a black sharpie I don't know if you guys can it's looking right here can you guys do that with a black sharpie it's kind of annoying it's not that bad since you can't really see it but I'm going to show you guys how to get it out as well again you can just use either acetone or rubbing alcohol it depends and if it's really resistant not coming out we can just use a little dye to take it out so we might be using a little Angeles acrylic or Angeles leather dye on there or I think I might actually just use actually if I do have to dye I'm just gonna use my Kiwi shoe dye shoe-leather dyed leather she died in black yeah so this gonna do one of those three and oh and just a disclaimer I am NOT a professional head bag restore or repair I'm not an expert on really like anything I kind of just have picked up a lot of stuff along the way I worked in like the design designer head backfield for a while and I just like fell in love with handbags and I wanted to learn how to like repair them take care of them and all that stuff and this is just stuff that I picked up like talking to other professionals I've talked to people that work in like shoe repairs and I've read a lot of articles and watched a lot of videos on YouTube and just like figure it out like a bunch of different things that I think I feel have worked really well for me so I'm just sharing this all with you guys and if you guys have like other tips and stuff that maybe I don't know about or that you like to use let me know down in the comments below I love hearing from you guys as well and a lot of you guys have like told me so many useful things like you guys are amazing and I just like love you too because like people can just share their knowledge and experiences with others and I think that's just like a really great like tool to like learn things that you don't normally Wiki wouldn't normally learn about so I think it's really cool and I love restoring these bags and I think that like these bags have so much life left and sometimes it just gets it started because like they get a little stain or something I don't even know why this one was thrown up because honestly it looks fine just like this but it is a little dry and it's really annoying that they roll on the inside so I want to take that out so other than that I think this bag is gorgeous so without further ado let's get into this rehab hey guys okay so here's the bag so first thing we're going to be needing is just a microfiber cloth so that and then we're going to be using our Cadillac of boot and shoe care and we may be using some Kiwi leather dye and we're going to be using some rubbing alcohol to try and get the permanent marker out and then some q-tips so with that being said let's dive into this really quick this is gonna be really easy to do or so we're just gonna start off first conditioning the bag and making sure that it's as as possible I'm actually gonna use my stay in the cloth just to seen it because mm-hmm yeah this isn't actually dirty it's just seen from all the leather dyes I got on it so you're just gonna use the Cadillac Putin shoes here you going to just shake it up really nicely and just squirt it so onto the cloth and then just start applying it to the bag and then while you're buffing it on just going like nice little circles you can even just apply it on the dog itself and this is gonna be conditioning and it's gonna be cleaning your bag at the same time which I really like I'm actually gonna take off these straps and do these separate so it's not so cumbersome while we're moving the bag around and if you guys if you um encounter extra dry spots on your bed while you're conditioning it conditioning it like this just go over it first with the cloth and the conditioner and then once that spot is thoroughly cleaned then afterwards you can just go in with the conditioner on your fingers and then just apply it like you would with lotion on your own hands or arms and you can just let that sit in there for a little bit and then if the part is like really dry it'll usually just absorb all of it and that is totally fine because your bag definitely needs moisture it's just like your skin if your skin is dry and not moisturize it's more susceptible to getting cuts or having like flakiness and that is just like the leather of your handbags like you don't want your leather to be dry or else it's gonna be damaged easily it's going to hold onto stains easier the more moisturizer bag is more resistant it is to a plethora of different things that can happen to it so you always always always want to make sure that your bag is hydrated if it's ever feeling dry definitely definitely definitely do not hesitate to condition it eye condition my bags all the time and it's just really good for your bag and it's also for certain types of leathers as well this one included light scratching can be buffed out normally with a little leather conditioner so just a little like bus feeding and the Micra with a microfiber cloth with the leather conditioner will work wonders I don't know if you guys even saw that but they were like a lot of scratches right here and a lot of them the lighter ones have been buffed out already deeper ones won't but the nature of this leather is to be scratched and look aged so it's totally fine it just adds character to the bag but this will definitely just remove some leg scratches as well and then we're going to move on to the back of the bag and then we'll do the perimeter so once we're done with this we're going to do the interior part of the top of the of the cover of the bag where it has the sharpie writing on it and we'll see if we can get that out either using the rubbing alcohol and then if the rubbing alcohol does not work we're going to use the leather dye either way there's two marks on the back and then it will actually we'll try both ways that way you have both ways to try and do it depending on what you have handy and what's actually working for you so that way we can do that it'll also show you how to apply with your fingers so that way you guys have a a good understanding of how to apply the conditioner on really dry surfaces and at first I thought this bag was really really dry when I first got it but now that I conditioned it it seems to have done really well and accepted the conditioner really well so I'm not even really gonna worry about it and there was a stain right here I'm just buffing it some more I don't know if it was the standard just like a weird wash of like dirt or something but everything has to come off really really well you guys this like totally brings me back because coach is actually the first actual handbags that I started restoring because they were kind of like some of the first bags that I thought at first and I wanted to like get them and then try out some techniques on them and I just love love love like vintage coach bags you don't even know and if you see here you can see can you see like how you can see all those scratches all around right there and that's probably from your nails from when you're opening the bag and I need more Cadillac finishing for you guys are you go through this stuff like so intensely but it is so good for your bags and a little like a bottle like this will last you actually a long time as long as you're not like me and like always trying to like restore in condition like a million handbags but just take that sticker off so this bag was $29.99 and you can see all those like the lighter scratches on here are like just disappeared once we started buffing them and there's like some pen marks right there and see if we can get it out just by wiping it yeah it's on metal ribbon that sharpie on metal usually comes off fairly easily stuff that just came off with a little bit of a leather lotion combined with the microfiber klutz so the Marquis okay actually what is the more that is so funny you guys it was written like right here I think I can still kind of see it but it looks like just using the conditioner actually I've never actually had that happen to me before where the sharpie just came off with a little bit of leather conditioner so we actually can just forgo using anything else that is so crazy okay you guys so I guess in this instance suggest that rag and the Cadillac boot shoe care was able to get out that's Dean even the one down here I didn't even go that crazy down here with a cloth or anything and it just yeah it was literally like right there I can't leave like I don't even know where it is anymore but it was right here in this vicinity and it is gone so again this is just a testimony to how amazing this product is Cadillac boot and shoe care if you guys are watching this video I love you guys so so much ah I love this stuff this stuff is like liquid gold for handbags like the like the Fountain of Youth for handbags like literally it is amazing and I guess I'm so sorry that I ain't got to show you how to remove those marks oh but I forgot that we are going to be fixing this up let me see if I can zoom in right there for y'all okay so do you guys see just the edge coating around the just top panel how like you can kind of see the brown underneath this is a super duper easy fix I'm just going to reach into my little kit right here and I'm going to get my black acrylic paint now this really paint is amazing it's by its the angelus black acrylic paint this is one of my favorite things like okay like other than get the Cadillac boots you care if you're gonna have to color your bags either using a leather dye or an acrylic paint definitely definitely definitely do Angeles I've tried so many other barons and not saying anything back to them but Angeles has just worked out so so so so well for me like I can't even express how much I love their products their products are the best I'm actually going to normally I just use a I use a different paint brush for this but I'm just gonna go ahead and brush this long because it's nothing too intense that I have to do and I'm actually going to just do the whole circumference of sucking board the circumference of this area so that it just all looks uniform and neat and clean sorry about all the yelling outside all the kids aren't inside the house now we just went we just went to the park and they got pretty dirty needless to say I hope there's the baby and they are all taking a bath right now so I apologize for the noise but again this product is just so easy to use you don't need like any experience at all to do this and what's really great to you about these products are that they dry so so so so quickly like this is gonna be dry in a matter of minutes and since were just we just died like the we just colored in these top parts it's not gonna be a huge deal like it's not gonna rub off on anything even though if you're gonna be using the Angeles acrylic paint or the leather dye you're gonna want to wait at least 24 to 48 hours before using the item but I'm just going to zoom out and you guys the bag look how beautiful it is oh I'm actually just going to go over that one little spot right there with some conditioner beautiful I love this bag I was so excited for this bag guys I'm still even to this moment I'm not too sure if I'm going to be selling this bag I kind of have been wanting the silhouette of this bag or like a bag like this for quite some time so I actually think I might just hold on to it for the time being if I do decide to sell it I will let you guys know a bunch of you have expressed interest in the bag already so I'm so sorry for my indecisiveness I've just been wanting this bag like a bag like this for so long I actually had my eye on a Louis Vuitton bag like this that's like almost like a big shame it's pretty probably the same exact silhouette is this I actually scratched this part with my nail so I'm wiping it out but um so I will let you guys know definitely if I do decide to ever sell this bag but right now I think I'm just going to enjoy it let me actually a move so thank you guys again so so much I had it was quite an experience experiencing cleaning this bag with you I did not expect the Sharpie to wipe oh look at that it's completely gone even like in the direct sunlight it was right here at the stain or the like the sharpie where they wrote them the number for the price and he also wrote it like right here as well I'll try and see if I can get a photo of how it looked like a screenshot from earlier but it definitely was there and now it's gone with just the help of the leather conditioner and I am super duper excited to have been able to learn that little trick with you guys so if you guys enjoy this video please definitely give it a thumbs up and I cannot with my hair right now so thank you guys again so so much for watching if you guys enjoy this bag rehab video
