Please explain how to cook corned beef (silverside)

oh hey guys look a lot of people have been calling me up emailing me and asking me in the middle of the street how to cook a good silverside I know it's a difficult thing to do but you can do it that's what they say can I do it course I can now made it very simple for yourselves today enjoy okay ingredients are killing a half of silverside we're going to have some cloves over here crack peppers bay leaves some raw sugar now what I also want to put in there is a couple of veggies in that final hour of boiling so we revolve also got potatoes carrot broccoli another ingredient you're going to need is a bit of vinegar now I'm putting a little bit of apple cider hey because I want to live that extra flavour now first off we're gonna have to get these out of here and they're gonna have to be grated let's do that real quick oh that was super quick here we are graded and carrot done skis okay so now what we're going to do is we're going to put a washed civil side into the pot then we're going to put in our peppers bay leaves and clothes like them on top excellent then we're going to combine a couple teaspoons of sugar chunk there we go and then 1/2 a cup roughly of vinegar bingo was his name there we're going to combine we're gonna so we're gonna fill up just up to above the point of the suicide with some water mm-hmm and then once we do this we're going to then boil it whoa going everywhere the water watch out okay okay probably add a little bit more in there but we're going to bring that to veggies well that's boiling away nicely so what we're gonna do is we're gonna bring that down to just a little a little simmer if you will and we're going to whack a lid on that and I'll see you in two hours mother okay two hours later now we're gonna have a look at this silver side here looking and smelling wonderful and if we can push our fork into it then we know yep ready to go you could have it now but what we're going to do is I'm going to leave it in there for another hour I'm going to add some veggies and they're going to go in there and they'll take about an hour to get ready anyway so here you are maybe put a few more in there and we'll leave it for another hour yeah that's an hour later mmm yummy all right let's get it out then we're ready so I'm gonna cut through here first but always a little nervous look at that just fall away slice and dice no elbow grease there okay so it's like some more of this off wait up get ready for a very very yummy dinner huh now what's good about this it's also serves coal and it all very nice cold so not only do we have a nice dinner that we've got a very very tasty lunch tomorrow okay oh well that melted in my mouth off that one now the only thing better and this silver side by yourself he's obviously share with someone you care about I was delicious love no worries at all now you have yourself a great night everyone I know I will
