they gotta say from early again here in the last video we did an unboxing of one of their kids and I walked you through everything that you get inside one of these little packages what I want to do in this video is actually walk you through the process of setting up a garden for the first time so we've got all the bits laid out basically there's everything you need to set up your garden here except the bottles so you are going to need three bottles but there's a ton of different bottles that I'm sure you can get the client flying around they're gonna work just fine ideally you want to be looking for something between about half a liter a liter dark brown and green are the best colors to use but we have a ton more information about that on the website so won't go on it too much just for the minute why don't they want to show you though is the process of putting all these parts together and I've actually already gone ahead and build this bottle up with water so it's filled just about up to the shoulder here so you want to fill it up initially they say about 95 percent even 100 percent is fine pretty close to this before the next thing you want to do is grab one of the three inserts that come with the kit and we're just going to swap that right in the top there you've got the water filled up at the top you might get a little bit spilling over the edge that's really not a big deal do good ideas to do this singing feedback we've taken a little bit of water out so they're cousins too like that now we title via but you get the idea okay so we've got the insert in the bottle the next thing we're going to do is grab one of the three different seed packets that comes with it there's a ton of seeds in here I'm not sure how many exactly I want to say 20 30 maybe 40 so there's far more seeds than you actually need remember one see basically translates through one plant so we really technically only made one safe the reality is that they don't all germinate like the germination rate is pretty good but it's not perfect so we do recommend that you put in a few extra so what I'm going to do is just sprinkle a few of these out onto my hand that is crazy I'm gonna go with four seeds so that's plenty I've got four seeds here I'm just gonna pick these up very very carefully and I'm going to sprinkle them on the surface there okay okay now you might find that one or two of them fall down the side that's not a big deal it's totally okay as long as you end up with the waste to la Prairie City on the service day okay as I said you've got plenty of space in here so don't stress about it lose something drop something like I did whatever you've got plenty to play with there okay so the seeds are in the next thing we want to do is grab one of these germination stickers you get three of them in a pack for your three different bottles three different inserts this is basically just a clear sticker simple clear sticker and what you do is you put that over the top just like so and what that does is help trap in some humidity you only want to leave that on sort of three to seven days though you know when it's time to take it off when your little seedlings it's almost you know touching the underside days so after a few days they'll sprout up they'll come up to the underside of the germination sticker at that point you want to take the sticker off so they've got a space to grow through so when that happens killing yourself is just super easy it comes comes off the same way everyone the other thing you want to do is Mark the label you want the kid as I mentioned comes with two different angles I've just set up the globe basil here so I'm gonna grab the food bags little sticker and put that on the front of my bottle I don't have a pen with you right now but if I did it might also write the planted a bug on the right hand side of the suta there that's pretty yeah I'm not sure how long this video has come on for but I've obviously been doing a lot of talking a long way I promise you though that if you weren't waffling on like I am you could get this done in less than minute no problems but this is then basically ready to go you just want to put that in the sunniest window sill do you have it wants to be ideally in a south-facing window if you're in the northern northern hemisphere if not try to get it in an east or west spaceman we know these things do need a fair bit of light so if you have a problem with not getting enough natural light and getting a grow light is a really simple and effective way around that problem really easy to use easy easy to set up and they're really substitute for natural light you don't have any so yeah anyway that's basically the process of sending one of these up we would do exactly the same thing with the other couple of safe varieties that you get in the kit so you end up with pretty different bottles three different plants also doing your windowsill ready to go so that's it guys I hope this video has
