Please explain how to spray sealer on hand painted shoes / mod podge acrylic sealer

hidey-ho their friends and neighbors might be here today today folks are going to do a little something off our normal beaten path of how to videos we're going to show you how to seal some shoes that someone painted well we will explain in a minute I let my daughter explain that for you so here's my daughter hey y'all I am Mint Hill billies daughter tacky wacky Jackie you can find me on youtube at tacky wacky Jackie and we will leave a link down below in the description so you can find my channel and I paint shoes and I just painted a pair of shoes for a friend and um these are the shoes I designed them and then I sketched or like I outlined the design onto the shoes with a pencil then I just painted everything in with paint brushes with acrylic paints and everything and now we're going to show you how to seal a pair of shoes that have been painted and I'm going to have MIT hillbilly do that because I don't like sealing the stuff myself and um yeah okay folks hey today we're going to use this sealer is made by Mod Podge is a clear acrylic sealer and it's going to have a matte finish okay my daughter here says the matte finish is the best finish for so that's what we're using today and what we're going to do what we've done here we put some paper towels inside the soles of the shoes so we don't end up getting a lot of sealer inside the shoe we just want to get a couple coats on the outside so we'll use long even strokes okay I'll try to get it to heavy at one time we'll hit like one side all the way around the bag and we'll just finish you around we'll go ahead and fit into this side and then we'll kind of finish up on top here okay that's one coat on that shoe just going to code on this shoe nice even strokes keep fork and moving so you don't get too much in one spot and create a run okay that's good enough for our first coat there okay folks hey we're going to put the third coat on now we're not showing you the second coat this is our third and final coat we should keep the kind of light not too heavy like we got it sealed pretty good one more little coat here just for extra security okay one more shoe to go just remember to keep that hand moving okay I think that about wraps it up tell us again the reasons for wanting to seal the shoes okay number one you want to see all the shoes because obviously you want to protect your shoes so that they don't get damaged from dirt or water or something you could step in that could mess it up number two it waterproofs the shoes number three it makes it easier to clean the shoes if you somehow get something on the shoes and number four it makes the paint not crack because my first pair of shoes that I painted I did not put a sealer on them and I wore them and the paint started cracking and I was so sad because they were minions and now the minions are cracked and it looks weird so yes seal the shoes and wear something on your face when you're doing the sealer because that stuff stinks and I was dying the entire time okay folks just one more quick look at the shoes they're looking pretty good they're drying good and daughter tell her bye good bye thank you for watching the video and don't forget to like this video and share this video and don't forget to subscribe to miss hillbilly and myself once again a link will be in the description down below to my youtube channel so that you can just click on the link and then click that subscribe button and we'll see you in the next video mic drop
